Voice for street names, and landmarks - such as turn left at the stop sign, are really nice. Also the free lifetime maps doesn't hurt, in the old days those maps would add up quickly!

Sort of frustrating. I do like the product and I would recommend it but they do need to work on the voice command feature

Needs to have less scrolling in categories. Food choices have too much scrolling just to get to fast food or spell name of restaurant.

The only thing is that the screen is hard to see during the day. We tried it on the dash in a sand bag and then bought a device to put on the air vent and that didn't work either. It's very faint. See able but not the best.

The unit has a memory large enough to contain all 49 North American US States and Canada. Having had another Garman I was able to learn to use this one quickly enough. I love the picture of the freeway exit and showing the lane(s) to be in.

Now that I travel to Canada once in awhile I needed expanded maps. This was a nice seamless upgrade. It would be nice if there was a good way to transfer all my favorites.

Voice command is a nice feature but I do not think it learns speech patterns and comes up with some strange locations.

Not flexible, tightly programmed to have limited features and constrained options. Very basic user interface. Does not seem to want to remember locations. Distance to location countdown not an available setting option.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify on one of the concerns you voiced. The distance to location IS an option on the nuvi. To set this as your data field, you must have a route entered. Once the route has been calculated completely, tap the data field on the lower-right portion of the map screen (the one next to the menu/three lines button).
The next screen will provide you with various data options to set. One of them will be called "Destination Distance." Please note that this and other data options are ONLY available while the device is actively routing you somewhere. Thank you! -JPK

Some of the route recommendations are a little strange at times but it still gets us where we're going. The voice command feature is very nice and pretty reliable. It sometimes struggles understanding my wife but I've had no issues using it.
