Love this Garmin GPS

I'd much rather use a GPS unit than my cell phone. This Garmin found satellites quickly and gave great clear directions.

I really like the "live traffic" feature and the hands free phone feature is a God send. Even works in my noisy 2nd Gen Dodge Diesel pickup. Thank you garmin!

You need to type in the address and can save it with a named location, after that bring up the saved address. Not what I had in mind.

I had an old garmin from 2005 & figured it time to buy a new one. I love the updates since my relic lol. You can never go wrong with Garmin!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!

It is easy to use and has bluetooth and voice activation for hands free use. It works flawlessly and I feel comfortable as a parent that she will get where she needs to go safely.

The problem I have is it sometimes has a hard time to locate myself, even I am on my drive way . The rerouting is slow too. The map is hard to view too.

The only hangup is sometimes the voice command doesn't always respond when the car is moving or if the defroster is on. All understandable but gets kind of aggravating having to shout at the GPS to get it to work.

Wrong. I've discovered that turning it on while driving in the city has shown me shortcuts I never would have imagined.

Particularly, with a new device, you'll want to ensure the unit is up to date with the latest maps and software. You can do so using Garmin Express.

Great GPS but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This GPS is great for short travels and even for travels across several states...but, the GPS has a tendency to reroute unnecessarily and sometimes gets you lost more often then you would using your phone or a paper map. Overall, it is a great device.

It turns on very fast which is a big improvement over my previous Nuvi. The hands free features work very well.

I've owned a tom tom but this garmin works much better. It's a little pricey but I love it. I would recommend it to anyone. I would like a bigger screen but this will do.
