Needless to say, she is not all that great at remembering directions. She traveled from Iowa to Georgia and is getting around big cities without worry. This has been a lifesaver.

The custom route function isn't on the unit either. With the exception of the LMT everything the unit offers is very over priced.

This one has touch screen and love that as well. Like it that you can change the screen so easily and see thing up close. Do like it!!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has bluetooth but poor quality on freeway with max volume Directions accurate, live feeds there but nuvi could improve on its functionality for the driver. Voice recognition picks up 80% of the time correctly. I would buy it if no dedicated GPS (bought for my wife for bluetooth speaker reasons, and life time free maps, so I don't have to keep spending on navi DVD's). But returned it d/t poor bluetooth voice quality (calls and music streaming both poor). If that's the only thing you are looking for try Jabra freeway - great features for good price, excellent speakers with voice command and other new features never heard of before!

It doesn't really update traffic. Voice options suck. Takes for ever to update. Over all I wouldn't buy a gps just use ur phones.

Full featured user friendly GPS

Do miss the voice saying "Recalculating!" Appreciate that mounting system did not change so my previous Garmin dash mount still works.

It does a good job with the exception of the voice command feature. This seems to work maybe 10 percent of the time.

We're sorry to hear this, and wanted to address the issues you mentioned. Our apologies, as It's a bit unclear of what you're referring to when stating the number displays are inaccurate, but the miles to your destination certainly should be.
Please keep in mind, the mileage shown on a favorite or saved location is the total distance to that location in a geographical straight line ("as the crow flies"). This is because it's simply showing how far this address is from where you currently are. The total miles to the destination will differ depending on whether the route is calculated using a route preference of faster time, or shorter distance, as well as any traffic or construction detours, which may change the mileage.
Once you select a location and hit 'Go', the device will calculate the route, and the total mileage will adjust accordingly.
Speed limits are part of the mapping on the unit, and if changed, are updated with map updates. If you have questions, or feel a device is inaccurate in any way, please reach out to Garmin product support by visiting http://www.garmin.com/us/support/. We'd be happy to help.
