It may not be the unit itself, but some of the directions it gives are not the most direct/shortest ones.

Nice garmin nav and good Bluetooth smartphone link but not very good voice command feature as other mentioned. Also nice to have a mini-SD slot for update or map upload.

I bought this device because it has a pre-loaded Canadian map, overall, it worked before for my trip, except once that it seems to get confused. Not a bad product and a lot of interesting new function in this device

Upgraded from Garmin Nuvi760. This was great. Sounds more clear. Maps are more clear. The clip/holder takes a bit getting used to. I had a bit difficulty putting it on the suction cup and taking it out. Suction cup holds pretty tight on the windshield. Battery life is not the greatest (about 2.5 hours). My trip was from NY to Toronto, so I had it plugged on to the cigarette lighter most of the time. This was really useful in Toronto, Canada. Very accurate. Finding hotels and restaurants was great. Direction to the CN tower was nice. Did not try out the weather or the android app for it. One big disappointment is (I havent tried yet)...that it doesnt play MP3. There is no dedicated MP3 player. Why GARMIN!! WHY would you do that? Older models have it. Not that I care, but in case my phone or ipad runs out of music, I can play it from the nuvi. Not this one though. For that I had to take away a star. I am sorry. Also there is not 3.5mm audio jack. In I dont have BLUETOOTH on the car but I have an AUX wire? I guess you didnt think about that. Its great for its main purpose, NAVIGATING. It has improved a lot over the Nuvi760. I have yet to try it more. I always use gps even on my everyday weekend errands because if I am talking or my mind is elsewhere, GPS is there. I use mostly googlemaps on my galaxy S5, but this will save some battery life and data on the phone. Its a great product. Plus BEST BUY had it on sale when I bought it. SO it was worth it. OOH and another thing missing: pedestrian mode, or walking mode, whatever its called on the Nuvi760. The sound was pretty loud. I actually had to turn down the volume because my wife was sleeping on the long ride. The "DINGGGG" school alert is pretty loud, when you are passing by school zone. If you need a GPS, this is sufficient. No need to spend $500. The GPS that came with my car needs a map update. The DVD is around $200 (2008 German car)..so Instead I got this. Lifetime maps. I have yet to play with the traffic, but few people commented negative. On our way back from Toronto, it brought us through New Jersey, into Manhattan...with a lot of traffic. Not sure why, but I ended up paying tolls 2x. both tunnels. so there, another excuse for me to take away a star. I might need to set it up or something. Also, the updating to the new map before we left for our trip was a great idea. It was quick. Everything was up to date. Prior to the Nuvi760, I had the Nuvi650 I believe. Which was also great for that time and age. Most-likely will continue with NUVI, unless they change things for the worse. Great product. PLEASE BRING BACK THE MUSIC.

Bought to use the bluetooth with my cardo scala rider on my motorcycle helmet but will not connect with it,so dont buy it for that feature,it doesnt work.

I love the Garmin GPS - this is my second one! However, the bluetooth phone does NOT work at all! Whomever you are talking to can't hear you! You can hear them though... :)

I like it very much but i feel like i got cheated there is no red light warning Now i find you have to pay 25.00 extra for this feture my last one had it for free

We needed to replace an older Garmin, which was time-consuming to program, and required eyes off the road and a hand off the wheel to use.

I am very happy with the purchase. The GPS itself is great. The only problem I have is with the suction cup, it doesn't hold & it keeps falling. It would have had 5 stars if not for the suction cup.

I purchased 2 for by boys trucks. I feel they are safer using the Garmin instead of phones. They can talk on there phones through the garmin. I need one for myself

This is my second Garmin and I am very happy with it.Loaded European maps since I travel overseas a lot. Unit performs very well. Dave

This Gps is an upgrade from one of my older model Garmin Gps, the new features on this Gps makes it a lot easier to find new locations

This is a good Harmon with lifetime map updates. Fairly easy to use but took a bit to fealize how to change to a different city. Finally found it located in the bottom center off the screen, and then go from there.

this device is excellent for traveling I've used a lot and is very practical, I am pleased with the purchase I highly recommend it

Love it. Had it a couple of months and not a single problem. Love all the extra features. Haven't missed a turn since I've had it.

Comes with set up manual but no instructions on how to use the different features of the gps. If you did not have computer how would you get a manual. The voice command needs a great amount of improvement.

I'm impressed with its functionality. Good value for its features. Although, the detour function could use some improvement when you select a dedicated distance. Overall, I would recommend this product.

fast response to directions make this an easy product to use. love the larger keyboard and its highlights of all sorts of places of interest in the area, including banks and gas.

the bluetooth needs to be paired with the phone every so often to stay connected automatically when entering the car. The navigation is Hands Down the best there is of any GPS street navigating devices.
