I like my new Garmin. It has a bigger screen and I can see it better. The voice has corrected her pronunciation of different city names and streets. I don't laugh anymore when she pronounces the name of my city....

So far finding it easy to use. Being able to use voice commands is great compared to our old Garmin. Have already updated maps and that was easy too. Have not had it too long but have a couple road trips coming up. I will check back and update my review after those trips.

I've always been a fan of the garmin product but this one is great! It has all the bells and whistles and a larger screen (getting old - eyes aren't what they used to be!). The only thing I haven't been able to utilize is the sending of coordinates/locations from my phone to the garmin device. That would have warranted a 5 Star

I never get lost anymore and found it so very easy to use. The voice is so clear and love the big screen. I click on home and no matter where I am it gets me home

Cost is great and the amount of extras on this product is awesome. So many extras I probably won't even use them all. I love Garmin because it's always been an easy product to use with minimal explanation.

I bought this for my mom. My only worries was that it would be too complicated for her to be able to understand and use. But on the contrary, she says that she loves it and figured out how to use it very fast.

By far this is the best GPS unit I have used. It was easy to update even on a Mac. During the trip the Bluetooth connection with my phone kept me in the green with state laws regarding cell phone use.

I bought this for a trip back from California to Colorado...it has everything... traffic alerts..weather alerts... every gas station, hotels, food, etc.. Nice 6 inch screen too...Cant go wrong with this GPS

We took this on vaction to Arizona, we live in Illinois. It worked great, even when traffic hit, we were able to use the "quick route" feature to go around it. It was easy to set up and save addresses. The battery lasted a long time and fit nice in my carry on.

Very useful voice command. The split screen for areas with traffic updating is nice. It will also offer rerouting in these areas.

So far so good. It gives clear directions & screen is crisp & clear. It is user friendly & menu is easy to navigate. A good buy for a beginner or one with experience & a good bang for the buck.

This gps works great and was easy go mount. My hard of hearing mother can hear hear it without issue. Easy to use as well, straight forward user interface.

Awesome GPS!!!! I cannot say enough about it!! Meets my every expectation in a gps !! I would recommend one of these to whomever is looking for a large screen GPS. Acquires satellites very fast!!! NO long waiting to "link up"!!!! I still haven't used ALL of its features and I'm very pleased!! GET ONE!!!! You will LOVE it!!!! You can also connect it to your smartphone to send contacts to it and have hands free calling with its speaker. Love it, especially the split screen when you exit from a freeway and the traffic reports and the lane assistant is unbelievable.

Love this GPS - large screen, fast turn-on and connect, search engine is smarter and quicker than my old GPS, love the split screen approach when nearing interchanges - lane location is clearly marked and super helpful. No negatives so far.

I bought this item for my elderly parents and the functions are easy to use. The screen is large and is easy to see when traveling down the road.

Needed a GPS that will support the Garmin BC-30 back-up camera. This does just that so I sold my NUVI 2797 and bought the 2689. So far the unit has performed great. The 6 inch 2689 works better in my VW than did the 2797 which I had in my truck.

I purchased this as a replacement for an older Garmin unit and couldn't be happier. Quick tracking, easy to read display, plus the lifetime updates will help extend the life of use.

The 2689 works effortlessly, it finds routes quickly, and re routes just as fast, the screen is large and very easy to see, however does tend to produce some glare, id easily recommend this gps for anybody looking for a standalone gps system

This GPS is very user-friendly & allows the driver to choose and set routes much more than on previous models. Also, the voice commands are quite nice to use as well since they allow the driver to make changes to the route while driving.

Easy set-up. Long update time. Works well. In cold temps. the screen will flash from light to dark until warmed up. When you are driving and its flashing it is distracting. Over-all we like it. The voice command is a nice feature.
