The summary says it all. It gives you everything you need to find a place, including a picture of it! Shows lanes, traffic (you don't have to go to a different screen for traffic any more), places. I traded up from my older Garmin and haven't looked back. I believe that Garmin has the only GPS anyone should even consider buying.

Many people use their phone for GPS, but I wanted to replace an old NUVI GPS. A bit pricey, but it has all the features needed. The voice command feature is great allowing hands off navigation. No more reaching and poking. Occasionally, doesn't get it right, but after using it awhile, it becomes more intuitive. The thin size makes it great for a dashboard or to carry. Very clear images. Took a bit to get used the new navigation of saved places and such, but overall, a great GPS.

It is everything I need in a GPS. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get my computer to recognize that it is plugged in for updates. I have used other computers also with no joy.

Easy to use with great features. The case gets very hot in the sun. Screen is sometimes difficult to read while wearing sunglasses. Voice command works well.

I started using auto GPS when they first became available & over time gravitated to Garmin for reliability and accuracy. After being disappointed with factory installed GPS in last 3 luxury autos I vowed to go back to Garmin in my recent new car. Have not been disappointed! Everything in the box…. electrical kit, mounting kit and lifetime map and traffic updates. Especially like quick operating magnetic mount to attach/remove unit from windshield mounting bracket.

I've only had this unit a short time, but so far I love it. I am always discovering cool new things it can do. I am anxious to get the EcoRoute HD accessory so my vehicle info will show up on the GPS screen such as diagnostic codes, sensor info, gauges, etc. The voice command is awesome and accurate. So far, the only thing I don't really care for is when the map automatically zooms in and out depending on speed. I like to stay zoomed in to see more features.

Very clear screen, not bulky and easy to use. I have used the mount in the box and have no problems with it staying on. Also, I chose to spend a little more to get a clearer screen and I am glad I did. When you are in traffic & not knowing where you are going you don't want to squint.

this is a verry nice unit that is FAST processing and has a great quality picture on it. works fine rught out of the box.Garmin did take away some dashboard feature customizing, so you are limited to the details that you see on the front screen. Syncs up with the Iphone great. and also is great with the echo route hd accessory! Overall this is a great unit you would not regret getting excpt the wallet saying ouch.. But I feel it was worth it!

The Garmin is easy to use (it helps to read the instructions and try practicing with it before taking a trip if you are not used to using a GPS) and the only negative I found was it directs you to use the prepaid lanes of the toll roads even if you don't have a prepaid pass and are not familiar with toll booths.

It is the top of the line in car GPS with built in voice command and 3D imagery. With children in the car you get distracted - this step by step travel aid - visual and voice greatly helps getting there safely. The travel aids such as finding gas stations when YOU ARE RUNNING LOW is priceless when in unfamiliar territory - let alone going that one more exit for a motel or food stop. Traffic conditions ahead and re-routing is a major plus for this model.

GPS works great easy to use, and also provides traffic updates for better routes. Lifetime maps are great

We've only used this Garmin on one trip so far, but it was easy to set up and use; plus the graphics are superb. The only issue we had was regarding traffic updates. We ran into some fairly heavy traffic, but the GPS indicated there was no traffic to report--not sure if it was an issue with the device or the service that reports the traffic. We'll keep an eye out on future trips. With that said, we've had a positive experience thus far.

This is an excellent GPS; voice recognition works great, HD screen is crystal clear and is very accurate. The power cord plugs into the holder and not the GPS which is a good feature. Also it holds on the adaptor with a magnet and easily slides into place. I researched GPS"s for awhile and decided on this one and I am glad I did this is the best one

I just truned it on and it was ready to go, ive had no problems so far. Has a very nice look.

LIKE I SAID IT WAS SO GREAT THAT I GOT 3. I GOT ONE FOR MY BROTHER AND MY 2 DAUGHTERS. I AM WAITING FOR THE NEW ONE TO COME OUT SO I CAN GET THAT ONE FOR MYSELF.

Garmin continues to improve their line of automotive GPS. Which is good, because as the smart phones get better, Garmin is going to need to keep up. They've done well with this one mostly, but strangely omit features that should be on their "top of the line" GPS. Improvements (over my 3590): - Faster, better screen - Love the magnetic base, but watch out for it if you keep it in or your GPS in your computer bag. - HD traffic - great, but only in big cities. Why can't this also be available via my cell phone? - Weather and maps - Fantastic for long trips Worse: - Voices seem worse, even though they're supposed to be improved. The american english voices are OK, but the french ones are definitely worse. - Adventures - Why is this disabled on the GPS. They're very useful for tours, but Garmin thinks that this is only good for hiking / trail GPS. Disappointing for a "Prestige" level of GPS. - ECO features used to be based on GPS and acceleration. It was a fun feature to use to challenge yourself to be more economical in your driving. Now you have to buy another $100 add-on hardware item. Again, for "prestige", this isn't really acceptable. Should be included for their top-of-the-line.

Great GPS easy to use, function filled, great graphics

The product retains important display features from previous models. A product improvement would be to offer the same features and functionality within a larger display...say an increase to six inches.

This Garmin is easy to use; accurate; and the quick disconnect is very convenient.

This is an excellent GPS with great resolution, wonderful detail, and all in a 'cell phone like' form factor.
