This GPS is really easy and simple to use right from the start. All I do is attach it to the magnet/charger and it was ready to give me directions to any destination. Input of addresses are simpler than its predecessor which I find as a nice feature. The GPS talks to you in simple term referencing landmarks which is a plus. Screen is bight and clear. Draw back to this GPS is that to take full advantage of all its capabilities you will have to spend additional monies buying accessories or apps. In addition, since this a new model the cyclops safety camera for North America and Canada is not available at this point but is available for other regions. Hope it will come soon as it will be a welcomed bonus.

The large screen with 3-D effects is especially nice for using in the Blue Ridge Mountains this time of year. Great precise directions, both vocal and on screen. Would recommend this gps to all.

This is a great GPS. Garmin has done a wonderful job of making this GPS. I owned an older model Roadmate GPS that had given it's last correct decision on a trip to Las Vegas. The Roadmate I owed was immediately replaced by this Garman, what a major difference. The Garmin is so much easier to program and use compared to my old Roadmate. The biggest problem I have is that the Garmin GPS does not understand my voice very well, resulting in wrong locations proposed to me. But that is easily solved by typing in the request. The "parked car" finder is a great feature.

Great features! It has everything you need and more. Love the voice command, construction and traffic updates, easy to read screen, and split screen, and lane usage is very helpful. It is my first GPS unit and extremely pleased with my purchase.

Overall, this is a great product for those that want a mid-priced GPS. Accuracy is great. Easy to use (plug-n-play), take the car charger.... you will need it, as battery life is only 2 hours.

This is easily the best GPS I have ever owned! Highly recommended.

Garmin always has great GPS units the best features of this unit are the lifetime maps and traffic.

I've used this Garmin GPS several times but like most GPSs its also great to have a navigator to help as well. I didn't use all of the features yet so I can't give a comprehensive review-I do like the larger screen, consistent Garmin menu and voice command capability but haven't used the latter.

I purchased this as a gift. The person I purchased it for likes the feature of voice command.

Excellent screen, Voice Command feature is Great! Speed limit monitor is very handy. Although on the pricey side, the screen quality alone is definitely worth the money.

With a new model, comes likes & dislikes compared to their other models. I owned a Garmin 3590 before it was stolen. Both models included live traffic updates, lifetime map updates, speed limits for school zones & 5" screen size which were features I enjoyed. The newest model 3597 does include speed limits for SOME streets & are not updatable (bummer!) It has a sliver backing which is magnetic to the windshield mount which is better and doesn't fall off the windshield like the 3590 did. The 3597 model has a beautiful HD screen which is easy to see/read but the new design only allows 2 items on your dashboard at a time. I enjoyed using more features at a time with the 3590. Overall, I would recommend this new version & will adjust to the new settings Garmin has in place.

My last gps died and review this on prior to buying it. Large screen and can be used horizontal and vertical that's a plus. Bluetooth compatible and sync to you iPhone or droid for everything ie phone,traffic.weather. As for the feature example traffic.... I live in Modesto ca and I could get the traffic feature didn't work unless you live in the Bay Area ( my last unit worked in the Modesto area) then I reviewed the option and I had to buy a$19.99 package to make it work in my area. So I did and it works ( not right ) And the plus is the weather feature road condition I drive all over Northern California and that was $4.99 (get it) but it has crashed on me five times in the past month. Waiting for garmin fix. But all in all I give it a 4 out of 5 stars
