I use my new GPS every day. I have been using a Garmin GPS in the car for over 15 years. It is a driving companion, notifying me of speed limist, school zones, and approaching bends in the road at night.

I have used other GPS before, different user interface and user available functions, this shows me the alternate routes fine but does not do real time traffic conditions with alternatives.

The Garmin Nuvi 57LM GPS navigator guides you on the road with quick calculations of routes. Excellent graphics gives you advance notice of which lane to stay on. Clear verbal directions.

Go's works very wel. keyboard is quick and map searches quickly. the only annoyance is the fact that the gps doesn't boot directly to the map by default but requires 2 button presses before seeing the map.

This product is very cool and very accurate with directions. Some of the addresses don't come up on the Gps because they are newer construction which i understand. But overall a great product

I replaced my older model. It has updates and changes. Some I like but I'm still learning the new interface. It's harder to read than my old one partly because things have moved and type size is smaller too.

I loved this GPS so much that when I destroyed the first one with water damage, I immediately repurchased another one... Gives you excellent clear detailed advance notice for all directions..

I bought this navigation unit after returning a Tomtom unit that was defective. This unit was easy to set up. Inputting address was simple, and recalculating route was quick and automatic. A couple complaints I have are 1) on a cloudy day, this unit has a hard time receiving satellite signal and loses signal very often midway through navigating. Sometimes going without signal for 10 to 20 minutes and this can be frustrating when driving in a new area where you don't know your direction. 2) This unit does not have real time traffic so will not find quicker routes based on traffic.

This is a very good GPS. Some nice upgrades from the last one I purchased 5 years ago. Clean and easy to read direction and nice to see gas stations are on map without requesting them.

Bad thing is when you stop at a gas station or a store and shut your car off ,you have to reprogram the address when you start your vehicle , it will be in the memory and all you have to do is select it ,

It is difficult to find locations by name. It sometimes indicates a circuitous route. But all in all, it functions well and assists me in getting to where I need to go (if I look up addresses on my iPhone).

Was an overall great product, I got it for my dad, who's not a techy person, and he was able to use it and loves it.

unit was bought to replace a Tom Tom. Great GPS unit w/ clear instructions and graphics. Lifetime maps also influenced decision to buy.

Bought this for my husband for an anniversary gift and he loves it. It helped us take the shortest route from AZ to OR. Also pairing it with GasBuddy app on your phone helps save money.

I was put off at first that there is no manual, but it is easily available on line, and I found the device is self explanatory anyway. The screen is so clear and very easy to read.

gets me to the place I type in. tried to access manual but would not download should watch when getting off the route sometimes takes very roundabout way to get back on when a u turn is sufficient

it was really value for money. great navigation with crisp voice guidance also the interface simple and easy to understand. Really loved the foursquare app which comes with the device.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift. I had an older model but it was smarter to give my sister the newer Garmin because mine had never been updated and this one included unlimited updates.

This is my first gps purchase and I must say it was a good one. It's really good to start in the gps world. I missed the fact to have voice command but it's included in the more advanced models.

The touch screen is great, the graphics are good for a ”low end" GPS. This have some great features in it, like restaurants, gas stations. It came in handy for our 1700 mile trip!!
