I prefer to use an actual GPS over a phone app. This Garmin was the perfect replacement for my old GPS that had started to have an intermittent power problem.

Bought for my dad, who is tech shy. Since he does not use a smart phone, but needed GPS functionality, this seemed like a good choice for the price. No problems so far.

Great GPS for exactly what I needed it for... However, everything on screen seems to be crammed in there and hard to read from a distance because everything is so small.

Faster connection time to the GPS satellites then my 3 year old Garmin. The voice commends giving street names is a big plus. Search feature even better

We took at trip to Minnesota our GPS got use there with no issues, with out our GPS the trip would have been so stressful. Our GPS saved us a lot of worries.

Been using for route deliveries . Love the fact that you can put all your stops in and let the Gps put them in the best order to get your route done faster.

This Garmin works great and the split screen view at major interchanges is nice.

Spend the extra few dollars and get the one with live traffic update. This one will give you the fastest route without considering traffic delays. I also prefer the Google Map on the smart phone, but its not a good option for me as all Garmin devices (not sure about others) don't provide the exit at the end point (i.e., stay on I-10 to exit ___), it will state stay on I-10 for 6.4 miles then keep left (where it intersects with another major freeway like the I-17), just a little frustrating.

This is my second garmin, sold my first in favor of using gps on my phone but that didn't work so well for me. Glad to have my garmin back on my dash!

We like our Garmin Nuvi GPS, although occasionally we find ourselves scratching our heads wondering why Garmin is taking us a particular route.

"Gertie" is very understanding if I choose a different route from the one she tells me to use....she quickly finds me and goes the way I have chosen!

Used for the 1st time for a trip to NY - was wonderful and liked the divided screen where there was tricky exits - am very pleased with my purchased

Does what I need it to do! The maps are a little out of date. Even after the update the GPS doesn't know certain locations when searching. Other than that, love it!

Had to get use to it. A little different than my old Garmin for putting in the address but the voice commands are better and easier to understand

I got this for my teenage son. It has been a good unit, and does what I needed it to do without spending too much. The lifetime maps sealed the deal.

This is a big upgrade to my old Garmin. Better quality picture. Has not driven me into a lake yet. It works well. Wish it had more voices built in.

This gps is very easy to use however sometimes it sends me down roads im unable to drive on with a semi-truck

I've tried several brands that family members own, but I love the setup of the Garmins. My new teenage driver is getting this one for Christmas.
