Easier to program the addresses. Nice feature about "what's up ahead" that let's you know how far to food or gas stations is very helpful. In the event you take it on a trip and lose a suction cup or cord you can get parts at the local store. No hassles with online ordering. I am very satisfied. Good value for the money.

Great buy. Only complaint so far is that some features that were on earlier models of Garmin design are harder to find on this model. Hard to figure why they made it this way. Other than that it has very good graphics and is easy to use for the most part.

This replaced an 4 year old GPS. Nice large screen. Windshield mount is great. I added an 8 GB flash card so I could load both the US and Europe maps. Does well with UK post codes. Worked well in Italy. Maps have much richer content in the North America data set.

I had a 10-year old Garmin that I loved! I kept buying new cords, etc. until I realized I could purchase a new one for less than replacement accessories. Wow, GPS technology has come a long way. I love how it anticipates what you are typing in and finds it anywhere in the country. "She" is my new best friend.

Great simple to use, but fully loaded GPS. Top of the line. You cant go wrong with this device. Bought it for my step Daughter, I personaly have the same GPS as well and both are great devices. I had mine for 4 months or so and no issues to report.

Right out of the box to the dash. Power on and find your location. Like other Garmins, it's ready to go with accuracy and ease. I have not found anything that I don't like. I purchased while on sale and it offers all the options I need as a LMT device.

This is our first upgrade from a previous Garmin. Satellite connection is almost immediate. Enhanced voice directions such as upcoming landmarks and better lane observances are great. Graphics such as exit signs are a real plus. On the down side, as with our previous Gamin, the routing may not be the optimum route.

This is a great GPS, it's extremely easy to use I did buy an air vent mount for it and it would be nice if GPS's had the charging port on the side of the unit would sit flush. Also would be great if it had Bluetooth but other than that this is a great unit for the price. Also lifetime maps and traffic updates.

I used my Garmin in Canada and it was very useful and easy to use. The only issue I had was I had to stop or wait until for the Satellite to pick up signal to create my route. Great value for the product. Can't wait to use it again in other countries.

I didn't have GPS on cellphone or built into car and needed help getting to new destinations. Works great so far...have been using less than 1yr. Easy to use touch screen. Great to find shops & restaurants by name or by category. Very helpful!

I used this to travel from Florida to Maryland and it worked great until I got to Virginia and Maryland. It tried to get me to take a longer route then I wanted to take. I know the area I was traveling in at this time so I know it was sending me out of the best route to take. Other then that this is a very good GPS.

This is my 2nd GPS system. My 1st GPS system was from Magellan, and that was kind of nightmare to me. While driving on highway, specially on interstate, Magellan didn't show the lanes properly. We couldn't be able to find address correctly by this GPS. After that we deliberately started looking for a GPS which is more accurate. And, we found this garmin one. Some of our friends also recommended it to us. We drove nearly thousand miles already with it. It's pretty good to identify address and navigation is good also. Touch screen works perfectly fine. Lane assistance is good. Only negative part I saw is that I can't do any customization on routes. Though it have some standard filters like avoid highway or toll road etc, but I wish to have something which I usually find in google navigation maps on my I phone, for example - say I want to go to New Jersey from Boston. I can change the route in google maps as per my choice, but here I can't do the same. Otherwise, at overall I think this gadget is pretty good and I can recommend it to my friends also.

We used the Garmin when we went to Missouri, Branson for a short vacation. The garmin made our trip easy and convenient to locate places and saved us time in our travel.. The small appliance was so good, we did not have any difficulty in using it. it is a friendly user for traffic direction and giving us a map.

I have used the Garmin Nuvi GPS's and this one was to replace my 5 year old GPS. I was very impressed with the device, it has a lot of features included, I was able to find banks, dining, gas stations with ease right on my map. Props to Garmin for giving what is expected and then some of a GPS!!!

I bought the 5" Nuvi 2557LMT after using one on a road trip in a friend's car. I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier and logical it is to use compared to my previous earlier technology Garmin. Maps are large, clear and easy to view. So far, it has been durable and I have had no issues with it.

It is awesome! I actually won a Garmin GPS on the Price is Right Show and I used it so much and it's still working strong! I love it! My husband knows how to get around, what man doesn't! However, when we go on trips, we just enter any interest like an unknown restaurant and it will find it for us and take us there! If we have to go to an event, we just type in the address and zip code and it leads us there, just that easy! It's fun too! We love to hear the voice speaking during our trip! We named her Ingrid! You'll want to name yours! So I went to Best Buy, to buy this Garmin model, more advanced for my husband and he has been loving it, setting it up his way and he's still thinking of naming her. It tells us what time of arrival will be and how many miles to go! Go buy it, it is the best buy!

enjoy the large screen, when up coming freeway changes love the picture of the freeway signs. Bright colors, but like GPS in sunlight a little hard to view the screen. One bad address, but over all enjoy my GPS from Garmin this is my second one. like the first one, bought this one because of the upgrades,

I would recomend this unit to anyone. Love the ease of use and the voice changes that don't include an attitude "recalculate!"

This unit definitely kept us on the shortest routes to wherever we wanted to go from CO to MA & VA.

Easy to use in the car when traveling for work. I am able to map out my day with multiple stops. Also plan out stops for food/gas near my locations.
