Good GPS

I've also tried using my iPhone but maps seems to be less accurate. Heard lots of good things about Garmin so decided to give it a try. Used it in the SF Bay Area, So Cal, Las Vegas and the East Coast and didn't encounter any major problems. Lost signal once in awhile but less so than my past Magellan GPS's.

I explained it to my mother once how to use it and she has not had any problems setting it up to find destinations.

Great upgrade from older Garmin units!

Still learning all the options, my other Garmin 255 was flawless for 4+ years. The traffic update's have been a little inaccurate, but hope they work on that,

Made it easier to find businesses with out having to stop several places to get directions, which makes it safer to drive alone. Has uncomplicated my life, which is great! Makes for a great travel partner. A very good product.
