So far he's happy with it. The only thing we couldn't figure out is how to put the coordinates in for a location...it said it couldn't find it. The directions just say to type them in and we got the coordinates from his other gps but it didn't work.

Reliable Co-Pilot

Love being able to update the maps for free each year and it’s easy to do. Will buy another Garmin when this ever stops working.

Good but not perfect

Sometimes it shows traffic 50 miles ahead, sometimes only after I've stopped for traffic already. Its choices of quickest route are sometimes poor, It seems to know there are quicker ways but doesn't choose to use them initially. Software needs modification.

Good, solid GPS with nice features

I like the voice updates (e.g., "turn right ahead at the Walgreens"). This is still WAY better than using a smartphone, and it includes support for micro-SD, which I use for European maps.

Excellent basic unit

Does not have a lot of whistles and bells. Used mainly for finding addresses. It seems to want to always put you in a cash lane on tollways instead of electronic payment.
