Worked flawlessly from Seattle to Phoenix and through the Canadian Rockies. Traffic updates lag behind reality a bit, but that's to be expected. Has saved time on a couple occasions already. Changed out the suction cup mount for the base that sits on the dash, and have had no issue with it sliding off.

Great item. Garmin makes the best. Great to use voice command and not have to touch screen to enter addresses.

I may not have had it long enough to understand the full potential. I would like to be able to search for restaurants within my route, as well as marking places I see so I can return on future trips.I do like the way the Garmin can navigate me quickly through difficult areas such as Washington DC. The Garmin has helped me many times get out of a tough situation by avoiding accidents Android closures. Has tried to get me to go on to the HOV Lane at the wrong times luckily I have caught that before I got on there.

Got this to replace an old Garmin whose touchscreen was failing. It starts up and acquires satellite signals much faster than the old unit. However, I find the new interface confusing at times: for example, having to enter the house number and street before the town, and not being easily able to select distant towns (although it is possible). Sometimes selects weird routes in which you take an exit and then get right back on the same highway you were on. Cannot compensate for minor misspellings or unexpected formatting of destinations. Led us into some dead ends and wrong-way streets in Portugal, although that was more likely the fault of the (Garmin) add-on database we bought. Could not find some Portugal destinations that seemed to be entered correctly. The lane and exit information is generally helpful but occasionally off-base or hard to follow ("be in the fourth lane from the left"). Not bad enough to return, but I am not totally happy with this unit.

Had a Garmin before and this was a definite BIG step up. Like the bigger screen and the lifetime upgrades

Works great no problems with it yet. I would buy another one today.

Got it on sale $165 Has a lot of features that a $200 gps would have

This was a replacement purchase for me. It far exceeds the last GPS that I owned. Exceeds my expectations.

I use this product every day to find addresses for my job. It does an excellent job and is user friendly.

and with the constant updates this GPS is turning into something better than when i bought it.

Great GPS was looking for a Tom Tom, but this device had all the feature and price that I could possible want

This is very easy to use and much better than using your phone to navigate. Highly recommend this Garmin.

The GPS is very good and easy to use. The only dislike is a long up date over the Internet.

The only pro Lem I keep having with the Garmin is that it keeps resetting to a foreign language after its turned off

I loved my old Garmin and didn't think I need a new one. My wife bought this for me.. and I AM SO GLAD. The features are incredible. The on screen alerts for gas, food, school zones and speed limits are great. I ride a motorcycle and wish it was waterproof, but I keep a baggie nearby for bad weather. The only other thing, I wish it were easier to create custom turn by turn routes, since on a motorcycle I like to avoid highways and interstates.
