I mainly use my Garmin GPS when I rent a car. It has been extremely helpful, particularly in unfamiliar cities and states that I have recently visited. Very easy to operate and the size screen is just right for good visualization. I have recommended this model to relatives.

This is my 3rd Garmin GPS. Best yet! Has more info besides roads. Traffic congestion info right on. Voice instruction and commands are a pleasure. Big screen has gorgeous bright colors and really sharp. Entering favorite addresses is a breeze. All this at a decent price.

I recently purchased the Garmin nuvi 2689LMT 6" and it has been almost flawless since I've owned it for almost a month. I bought it for my drive from NY to AZ and it worked better than I expected. The only little issued I noticed was the traffic reports and construction reports were a little delayed. The bluetooth worked perfectly but I can't say much about the voice commands since I only used it to dim the screen once.

My Garmin GPS died suddenly, so I checked online reviews and chose this one and I am very glad I did. The navigation is very clear and accurate. The traffic feature is very helpful with my long daily commute. My last device was great for 6 years - hope this one lasts as long.

I purchased this Garmin and loved the screen quality at home but once in the car it felt almost too good and big. I saw the Garmin 2589 (which is the previous model / little brother) was on sale for $125 which was substantially less and did the same exact thing. The screen size is 1 inch smaller but who needs to see all the peripheral items (streets you are never going to drive on b/c they are running parallel to you) on the screen. This unit was good but the 2589 was more than sufficient and keep more than $150 in my pocket.

I purchased this 3 days before going on vacation. We drove over 36hrs total(there,back, excursions) and it performed flawlessly. Good size screen, any bigger would be too much. Traffic info was fairly accurate. I didn't bother with any of the Bluetooth features. I may next time. I would recommend this if your looking for a good stand alone GPS

This unit is incredible. I can't believe how many bells and whistle this unit has. Options are fantastic. I could travel the World and never get lost. What freedom, and not badly priced. Can't say enough good about this unit.

This has to be the greatest GPS I've ever owned. .... those everything i need and even has voice command... very convenient if stuck in traffic and dont want to fiddle with buttons. ... highly recommended this nuvi gps

Easy to use. Screen is a nice size and has sharp contrast.

One of the best Garmin's I have ever owned. No glare with the "glass" front. Voice activation feature is great. No complaints, gets us to where we need to go. Also the points of interest is a great feature when you on the road and you want to go on an adventure.

I have has several Garmin NUVI products and they are all very easy to use and configure. Easy to read in the daytime and a hundred times easier to use than the $2000 unit that came in my top of the line Highlander. Toyota could take a lesson from these people.

Great product not too big not too small. It's a perfect size for a car. The turn by turn is so great and specifies the gas stations and restsurants. Nice display, very clear and love the display being no border at all.
