Great alternative for factory installed navigation

I had to buy my last car very quickly and was not able to get a navigation system. Bought this one at Best Buy because cell phone navigation is just too small. This one has a large display and clear voice. The directions are clear and concise. Although I would have preferred a factory navigation system this is almost as good.

Still working perfectly after a year ...

I am a musician traveling Nation Wide through the USA and never had a problem to find a spot with this GPS System. I recommend to download all software for your computer and update all maps on a yearly base. It holds exactly 1000 custom favorites which I filled up in an year, what is too less for me, a 40,000 miles a year traveler. To make space for my new events, I had to go through all saved favorites and delete the double once and the place I am sure I do not need. That was quite some time and also fun, because I got to remember were I have been, all over the place, a thousand places! ... So I gave it one star less for that. And YES, I have also a Smart Phone with GOOGLE MAPS which could do the job, but think about the data that would eat, and what about the places without cell reception? I save the data for tracking my hiking adventures and use the Garmin - nüvi 2689LMT 6 GPS for my Touring Van.

Great but expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is one of the best garmin nuvi products but graphics on device is weak and you don't recognize the seprations on forks some times this is general problem in all garmins but better tham the others . Another point in purchasing a navigator is having traffic data on it and many doesn't.
