This unit worked great right out of the box. it was easy to set up and the menus are self explanatory. My only compliant is in bright sun light the screen has a lot of reflection> So I purchased a " NuShield anti glare film for it and it made it much better Note : I live in SW Florida the sun can be really bright hear.

Tried my new Garmin twice now and it works great. I downloaded Lifetime Map Updates and had no problems. Would recommend this GPS to all my friends & family!

I used this GPS on our way to Houston worked fine.

I love my new garmin! My husband needed a new garmin so I gave him my old 5" and bought me a new 6". I love the larger screen and all of the features.

Great GPS they have made many improvements since the first one I bought plus the talking can now be heard a 100 times better

Had a Garmin GPS for the late 15 years and decisied to buy a newer model. I'm not disappointed in this one at all, a lot of up to date feature and easy to use. I'm very happy so far(2 month)

We are enjoying many aspects of the Garmin. Our one concern is that it doesn't recognize some addresses that are in our hometown. We wonder if this will be a problem as we travel to new cities.

I am told that the product does not need a instruction book. Well, that's no quite so! I strongly recommend that an instruction book be included in the box. This is especially true for those if us who are seniors! I will admit that I am not as smart as I once thought I was, but I could not figure out how to operate it. It started off in Spanish and I could not find how to change languages on the machine while we were driving down the road! Later at home, I learned how to do that, but not when I needed it! I wish that we had not bought it! solojd

My "new" car didn't have Sirius so I went to the local store to get a converter installed. Now, my car is a Land Rover so the installation isn't the easiest. The crew there did an unbelievable job. It almost looks like a factory install.

I love the fact that you can plan trips ahead of time with different start and stop locations that are different from your current locations.

After waiting for a GPS to go on sale and reading several reviews, I decided to finally make a purchase. I am happy with this GPS. The traffic update is not really that helpful and is not automatic. Bluetooth is not necessary, as car has Bluetooth. Price matched with newegg, so it was worth it

As a newly retired person, we travel the country whenever we feel the urge. Our Garmin allows us to take back roads and visit places you will never find on the busy freeways. Love having the confidence of knowing we will never be lost.

Really like the feature where the picture shows the highway sign and shows which lane you should be in. The case can get very warm; do not leave it on and plugged in when not in use.

I have had other Garmin Nuvi GPS and wanted the larger screen size along with the lifetime maps and lifetime traffic. This model fits the bill completely, easy to use and intuitive design.

Bought this unit for travel. Have factory Nav in personal cars, but needed something to take on trips for rental car. Most of the units offered by rental co are mediocre at best. Love this unit, very portable yet large enough to see.

Overall this is a nice GPS with a nice display. Not too many negatives except that the search feature is very cumbersome and often comes up with incorrect info. The Foursquare area search feature is pretty much useless as it will display things that are hundreds of miles away. Don't quite get that, but maybe for some it is worthwhile. The lane feature is nice and quite helpful, but the traffic aspect is non functional even in major cities. I don't have the optional traffic cord so maybe that is the issue there. The voice recognition is interesting but again using it will give you results for locations hundreds of miles away. If you know the exact address the search is fine, but if you only know the city, not so much. My older Garmins were much easier and accurate in the search mode.

I upgraded to this unit from a previous Nuvi, and just for the better feedback and feel on the touch screen it was well worth it. Very nice unit, well worth the purchase

The main reason we replace our old GPS. We moved and it could not find our new address. So we bought one with lifetime updates. We also like the larger screen and the directions are far more accurate. It was time for a updated GPS. Now if only I could understand my computer as well.
