I've had several Garmin gps over the years. This one is my favorite so far. This one has a glass screen like a cell phone or high end tablet.

I've been using Garmin GPS for quite awhile now. GPS' prove to be very reliable. This one is no exception. I found just one disadvantage - quite short battery life. Garmin's specs say that battery in this model would serve about a year. Maybe because this is 6' model it has shorter life. As for all other attributes, it is very good navigator.

I really like this new updated nuvi gps. Just wish there were more instructions included instead of having to go online fir information.

I've used it everyday since I purchased it and it has been a major reason for my productivity

I found it was excellent in giving directions. Very Clear. This is my second GPS Garmin is TOPS

The GPS has worked well for the few times I have used it. I am still trying to get to all the features, like the voice activation etc.

We are very pleased with this gps. The touch screen is smart phone quality and very easy to use. So glad we upgraded to this model

We had a little dificulty getting it to work because we did not get a hard copy users manual.

I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to new tech, so keep that in mind. I think the graphics are good, the sound good, and it hooks up to satellites quickly, giving the easiest routes, if not always the shortest. I thought that it could play music through an additional chip, but I could not find any instructions on how to do that. When typing in destinations, be careful, because it will try to anticipate what you want, and not always accurately; so make sure your end address is what you want before you go.

No instruction sheet came with the device and it located on the home computer only. Very hard to get help with using and marking addresses, but it is OK for a cheap GPS.

best gps i had ever have, the active lane guidance really helpful especially when driving in place where we are not familiar at all.

I was sold an additional power plug (not with needed FM Antenna), and an additional,lesser dash mount. Bring someone who can read the included parts printed on the box. But the Unit exceeded my expectations in performance. Even brought down Google Street View photos for multi-lane changes at on ramps. School Zones that are established. With the Android App for this device, you can look up a contact and tap view, it gives the option to send via Bluetooth to the GPS. Sorry it did not communicate with my Radio via Bluetooth for Turn directions and such. Voice is not loud enough for large Van on Freeway. It also could have more variety of free voices or even pay voices. I would pay for P.W.Herman and Friends directions. Can you imagine spelling out that name is inappropriate?

This is my second garmin and this model blows my previous model away in so many ways.

This GPS was great to have on our family vacation. We were able to find places to eat and get gas without going out of our way.

I enjoyed this product. I brought for a trip that my wife and I was going on. It was a great device which performed very well.

we really like the voice command & the larger screen

I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law as she is always getting lost whenever she goes anywhere. This Garmin - Nuvi 2689LMT 6" GPS is unbelievable. It is one of the best GES navigation systems I have ever seen. It is very easy to setup and it is very user friendly. I would highly recommend this system. 2 big thumbs up.

It is working great. I am still leaning all the features. I wish the map was a little more detailed but I think I could fix that in settings. Overall great product.

Garmin is the only brand to use! With life time maps and traffic it's the perfect travel item if you do a lot of driving.
