A friend has an older model with a different display. This one is much easier to read. Thanks to Shawn R. from Appliances for all the help with this and a shredder too!

Of course she chose one that is 2 hours away from the house. I wanted the peace of mind knowing she could find her way home & back to school again. My husband has had a Garmin for many years. He uses it for work & it works great. The one & only time he had an issue, the Garmin folks actually sent a brand new unit to replace his defective one. NOW THAT IS STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT!!!!!

I saw this Garmin and liked the size as well as the lifelong maps. I also like the features that these new GPS systems have now. My only complaint is that I still can't figure out how to save an address. My old Garmin made it very easy but this one just doesn't seem very intuitive. That is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5.

Traffic service is disabled. Connect the correct power cable to receive traffic services. I have taken TWO back to Best Buy now because of this and I am getting sick and tired of this issue - I just get everything programmed in (I drive in St Louis metro and city area so this is a necessity for me). Now the third one is doing it again. This is not only me. Scan the phrase and Google loads SEVERAL pages of people complaing of the problem with no solutions.
