This device has been wonderfull. Fast and accurate, easy to navigate and syncs with my phone. The down side is that you can only optimize routes of 30 locations or less. Most people don't stop at 30 spots in one trip but if you do just know you can't. Also for delivery routes it wants you to do a u turn on small streets instead of taking you around the block.

I was looking for a replacement for a TOM TOM unit I have used for 6 years. The garman 3597 was pricy but very convenient and works just like I hoped. High resolution. Easy to use. Love the magnetic attachment and the super-fast start-up. Will probably add another 3597 for my second car.

After a large initial update (6GB), the Garmin nuvi 5" GPS has been wonderful on several trips.

This is the best GPS I've ever owned. The screen is awesome. Voice commands work really well.

Very please with my new Garmin GPS which replaces a 5 yr old Garmin Nuvi. No owners manual included but able to download from Garmin.com. It would be faster to have a manual included in the box with unit. Live Traffic Updates was quite informative while driving on the East Coast this Fall.

This Garmin GPS has been the best I have ever purchased

I quite often travel and navigation unit is very much helpful to me. After using nuvi 3597LMTHD for about three months, I would never look back to have different model. This navigator is so much advanced and use it just a pleasure. Very short startup time, automatically turns on lane assistance. Shows speed limit and much more. Especially, I like magnetic mount on the base - easy put it on and off to hide it from hot sun. Also, It is great to have wireless connection to your cell phone, it activates by voice command and you talk without moving a finger.

This GPD does have a learning curve that requires some technical knowledge or tech support.

Sometimes it doesn't understand our voice commands but the other features outweigh that.

Bought it for my girlfriend as she travels everyday to clients homes. Works way better than trying to use a phone and the google maps. Now she can use her phone for calls and the gps for directions. She is totally happy and the unit has not been wrong yet......unlike google.

I love this item. I use It very often as I travel.

We used it on our trip to L.A, as well as getting around in L.A. We like it very much.

I think it is a great value for the money, I like that it can be taken to my other car.

I love this product! The instructions during driving are very easy to understand and give plenty of time to merge into traffic before the next turn. Like driving in a familiar area to a familiar place. No stress!

Voice command, display, lane assistance are great on tis gps unit, I upgraded from old garmin gps unit I both in 2007, I was surprised to see its bright dispay compared to my last one. This is great unit but expensive.

Very detailed driving instructions. Comes with everything you need to mount to window.

Great display, accurate information. I like the notification of an alternate route.

Do not hesitate. Pay more for this because you will be glad you did. It is so much better than other brands and models. Not even close!

Best GPS that I have ever bought. I have tried others like Tomtom and this GPs outperforms it hands down. I recommend it to all those who travel. Great hands free device.
