Besides it's larger screen, the very plesant voice (I have Michelle) informs you well in advance of your next move. Then before the move or exit comes up, it shows how many lanes there are in association with that move and which lanes you need to be in to make the move. In a recent trip of over 2,000 miles, it was 100% accurate. Also a really big plus is that it never says "recalculating!" Instead it very clearly tells you what your next move should be should you get off course. When back on the correct road, it says "continue on route." Haven't found anything I don't like about it.

I purchased the Garmin 52LM as a replacement for my 5+ year old garmin 265WT that developed a short where the usb cable connects to the GPS (non-repairable). This is certainly an upgrade from my 265WT. The unit comes with lifetime map updates. The screen is slightly larger and has much better contrast than my 265WT. As expected, the software has been upgraded and there is no longer that annoying message that continues to say "calculating" whenever it's determining the best route. That alone is a huge plus. I am planning on buying a second one because my wife needs a replacement for her 5 year old 255W that does not have lifetime maps.

I really like my garmin nuvi 52lm. It's very easy to use, I like the fact that it comes with the mode that you cannot use the device while driving. I haven't had a chance to really play with it yet to see if it will tell me verbally if I am speeding. My speedometer works when it wants to, so I rely on the GPS when my speedometer doesn't work. I have calculated that the device is about 2 miles more than what my car is actually going, so I add 2 miles from what the GPS says and stay withing the speed limit. I had used a foreign GPS before, but I prefer the garmin better. It is easier to use and the free lifetime maps is a plus!!!

I have had a Garmin GPS (Nuvi 260) for about 5 years and have been very happy with it. When we gave our newly licensed daughter our old car we bought this unit to help her navigate. I like the wider screen size than the older units. I like that it has lifetime map updates (I had to pay extra for updates to my 260). The only thing is that this one doesn't come loaded with all the variety of languages and voices that came with my 260, but I believe these can be downloaded if desired. My daughter seems happy with this and I know she relies on it heavily when driving in unfamiliar locations. It gives me peace of mind knowing she won't get lost.

I have always had a Garmin GPS. This one is easy to setup and use. It is worth the money and comes with unlimited maps upgrades.

This is a excellent GPS for the price. It shows the speed you are traveling and also shows the speed limit for the street you are on. If you exceed the speed limit, your traveling speed changes to red. It also has free lifetime updates. I recommended one to a friend of mine and he purchased one. He is also very satisfied with this GPS. Hopefully this GPS will last me a lifetime.

This is a perfect GPS to have on hand in the car, accuracy is good and the lifetime map updates are worth more than what I paid for the whole unit. The only problem I have, and this was totally my fault for not researching well enough, is the fact that the 52 can only handle a single destination route with one via point. My wife has the 1455 which can do multi-point routing so I just assumed..... Love the split screen (overhead and exit) on the exit assist, really works well. Overall, I am totally satisfied with this GPS and would recommend it.

The garmin nuvi is a wonderful GPS. It is easy to use and inexpensive. It has always gotten me where I need to go with no errors.

This Gps has a nice sized screen and easy to push screen. It is reliable, works great.

Bought this unit at the store after they matched the online price. So far very happy with it - it is very basic, but does the job well. Satellite signal is picked up quickly and stays on pretty much anywhere, nice screen, good volume, detailed and timely directions. Lifetime maps update definitely a plus - the first update was done right after the set up.

This is my 3rd Garmin. I absolutely recommend this GPS to anyone who is looking for an easy and accurate guide. The features are so helpful. I was traveling with my son and he was having a seizure. I quickly touched the hospital button and was guided to the nearest hospital. This was indeed a life saver. Thank-you Garmin

This is my 3rd Garmin GPS. The 1st was stolen from my truck. It's replacement had the power button fall off before the extended warranty expired and this is the unit I chose from Best Buy to replace it with. Garmin has really improved the product over the one I purchased less than a year ago. It boots up to the home screen much faster than before. It is much more intuitive and better able to predict what I am planning to type in. "Home " and "Spell Name" are now located on the screen you pull up immediately after the home screen instead of being 2 screens in. Lifetime map updates is a must - price what it cost to buy an update and you will agree. It didn't come with lifetime traffic, but very little of my driving is not in the city, so this was not a feature that was important to me. I didn't buy it for playing .mp3's or any of those other features that can come on a GPS and that I am probably getting from some other device already. I want a GPS that tells me how to get where I want to go and that's all I need it to do. This unit does that well and I have been very happy with it thus far. My only negative is that the unit release from the mount is not obvious and a lot of times it drops on the dashboard before you knew it was released.

This is our second Garmin GPS and we definitely will continue to buy Garmin. The maps are updated and I love the new graphics. It is easy to follow the directions. Love the voice and language options. Love the holder. Easy to attach to the windshield.

Daughter started delivering pizzas and was struggling with maps in her phone. Was surprised to find you can still buy these and best buy had plenty to choose from. Bought this unit because it came with lifetime maps and had a good size screen. She's been using it for a month and can't live without it. Says it's a lot easier to use and see compared to her phone.

I really like Garmins. I find them easy to use right out of the box. This is my third one. I like the clear screen, the turn by turn directions and the 3D view of exits as they come up. Very easy to follow while driving alone.

I have not had the GPS for very long but the setup with my computer and update with Garmin was easy and did the job. I just used it on a trip out of town. I put in the GPS my home location and both the name / address of a rental office and the associated rental house out of town. When I started the trip, I selected in the rental office as the destination. After dealing with the rental office, I selected in the rental house as the destination. In both cases, the GPS got me directly to correct location with good information along the trip. I especially like the added information of 'time of arrival', the 'speed limit', and 'the actual speed of the car' all in real time.
