just getting started

So far I have used while my husband drives. I am not ready to go solo with it although with some planning and pre-entry of addresses would be ok. would not want to figure it out while driving and there is a safety aspect to prevent that while driving.

Best buy for my money

I've had a similar model by Garmin for two years and love it. I definitely recommend because of lifetime map updates and ability to pick from several route options. Very cost friendly. My only criticism is that sometimes it takes a minute or two to acquire satellite when turning on but once it does I'm good to go!

Big screen and ease of use

It has a 5 inch screen which is easy to see and the graphics are crystal clear. I would prefer to have it adapted to the dash board rather than hung on the window. Great product.

Garmin Nuvi 52LM gps

Many added features like lane assistance, very helpful when there are more than three lanes. Maps are pretty accurate 99%, although could be updated more often I.e.for highway road changes, worth buying with lifetime map updates. Only had this one for a month so far but I bought another one as well.

At the lane intersections the navigation splits into two showing you how to proceed.Of course Lifetime Maps are add-on. Things I didn't like: Mounting doesn't work perfectly...it keeps falling off. In some apartment complex gets confused, which i think is normal.

Great price & functionality

She had no issues navigating the menus or using it on her trip. The price is great and the lifetime maps add assurance that the Garmin unit will remain current with directions. It does not have bluetooth which was not necessary for us, but may be an issue for others.

Very good GPS unit

I bought the Garmin GPS unit for that purpose. It was spot on getting me to the address I inputted, without taking me a long way around to get there. This unit allows the user to program the most direct way. Great unit to have in your vehicle.
