This is the third Garmin we've purchased over the years. We bought it for our in-laws who are in their 60s. It is very easy to use and the software is accurate.

My husband says this is his favorite navigation system ever. I operates a little differently from the ones I have used in the past so it takes a little getting used to.

Great day and night modes. Shows the street you are traveling on and are approaching. Recalculates routes swiftly.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The graphics are crisp and the larger screen is a plus. Better than my last Nuvi.

We bought this to replace my wife's aging Garmin Nuvi 1450. This unit has a much better touch capability, is easier to navigate, and has much better search functions.

I have used this Garmin to help me navigate for three long trips, a total of over 2,200 miles. It has performed excellently. No glitches or errors have been noted.

Good size. Voice commands are easy to understand. I like the spit screen and that it shows my speed, wich I'd accurate.

I love this new Garmin 55LM GPS - much improved touch screen interface over previous models I have owned. I know lots of folks say "why use a standalone GPS when my phone can do that?" I much prefer keeping the two devices separate. The GPS works well on it's own, is easy to use, and you don't get Facebook notifications and text messages popping up on the screen while you are driving. :)

Easy to set up. Never took very look to connect. Never lost connection. Fast accurate directions. Worked great.

Most GPS you have to update as soon as you take it out the box this was ready to go.

I purchased the gps as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It's easy to use, it gives turn by turn instructions and he had no problem getting it to work.

An excellent GPS. Bought it on sale. Used it for long trip at Christmas. It helped find alternate routes around the snow/ice in New Mexico and Arizona.

I would recommend German over the others GPS systems. I have owned them all. German is consistently better. This GPS is great for any type of traveler.

This GPS is a must. Easy to use and exact directions.

Accurate and reliable. I use it mainly for a speedometer, as the one in my van is broken, and this does a great job. No more guessing how fast I'm going.
