Could not reset home address from where it was manufactured so packed everything up and drove to Best Buy and the Geek Squad couldn't do it either and that was a sign to me to get my money back and forgot the whole thing.

This 3rd purchase was defective out of the box and I returned it. The service tech could not get it to work and agreed that it was defective. I now rely on my Subaru integrated GPS.

Pay attention of this model nüvi® 57 Part Number: 010-01400-00, it doesn't have update. The model 57LMT Part Number: 010-01400-02 have "lifetime¹ map updates and traffic avoidance²".

This unit is OKAY as long as you stay on major highways, but does a VERY POOR job at county and rural area roads. DOES NOT know paved roads from dirt roads and the fastest routes

Didn't work in Mexico
