our old GPS "died" while on a trip so replacing it was super easy with all the models Best Buy has to choose from. After reading some reviews, we selected this one, and are quite happy with it.

Bigger screen than my TomTom and much more accurate!

I had another GPS; but when I saw this and went to Best Buy to buy this.

I will only use Garmin. I have tried other brands of GPS and Garmin is the best.

The directions are so easy to follow. It gives you specifics like "Stop Sign" - "Light" - before or after a specific store, bank, exit has 2 left lanes and stay in specific lane. It is easy to program and following the prompts is a snap.

Used the GPS unit to go from Royal Oak Mi to Denver Co. and back. Worked perfectly. Help me find my way around Denver and help me find placed I needed by just typing in the name of what I was looking for

I like the speed limit display and pedestrian crosswalk warning plus lots more.

Great and easy to use GPS. I love how addresses can be saved and that it has a home button. I bought this for my 68 year old mom who is not electronically inclined, but because of the easy use of it all she is able to do it by herself.

Purchase this as a gift to replace an old Nuvi that finally gave up after 8 years. This one is a great improvement as it has lifetime map updates included. The user didn't need the traffic function as there is no service in her area.

I bought this for my parents because they are stuck in the Stone age and use maps....I programmed their home address in the unit and showed them how to use it...It was alot more simplified then I thought it would be...And now they don't get lost anymore...I would recommend this to anyone

Been using garmin for years. Great product. Won't be disappointed.

I have used a Garman GPS for many years. I like the new unit but find its input program more difficult to learn than the older units. After you figure out how to input where you want directions to it works great. Very helpful for finding stores, banks gas stations and other attractions in your immediate area.

Very satisfied with my recent purchase of a Garmin GPS for the car. So easy to program my destination and to operate throughout the route, even though I sometimes get my left and right mixed up. Garmin politely redirected me back on course. So easy to move from one car to the other.

Always knowing where you are is very important to me. Saying that lead me to this product not just because of the name, but because of the hours spent to develop a solid product which will guide you to your destination. Never going back to a TomTom ever again, this is a sure fore product.

I have been very impressed by Garmin. I love the gps, and especially how the voice now tells you landmarks to make sure you know what turn is coming up. My mother has another brand, same price range and my Garmin is far better

i found the new GPS useful on a recent vacation to keep me on track and locate services at exits along the way. I prefer a more basic product and don't see the need for more advanced features offered on more expensive units.

Garmin - nüvi 57LM 5 GPS with Lifetime Map Updates is a good basic GPS. I usually do not use a GPS but I needed a GPS for traveling and going to unknown places. I prefer Garmin over the other guys.

Purchased for my daughter. Now I never have to worry about her getting lost or running out of gas when on her own. The newer GPS provide warnings when entering school zones, show gas stations and restaurants on the map and are easier to program. Great investment for newer drivers.
