Some "buttons" have changed from my previous version, so there will be a learning curve to get used to the new machine but I love the lifetimes maps. Better graphics and I love the split screen on exits.

gps could not be upgraded the maps so I had to buy a different one

I purchased on my way out of town for a last minute trip and was pleased with the purchase. It's basic not extremely fancy but it has some cool features that helped out for looking at places to eat.

Easy to use and set up. Inputing addresses is a little time consuming but ok. Haven't used it enough to comment on battery life. Recommend getting memory card if storing more than a few destinations.

The Garmin worked very well on our road trip. The map was accurate and the other features, like nearby attractions and speed limits, were a plus. I definite like that there are lifetime map updates.

This was a perfect gift for my granddaughter. She will be driving downtown to college and this will make her feel safe. I already have one and I love it.

nuvi 57 is far more intuitive then Tom Tom or Magellan, But, not nearly as intuitive as the old 40 series. I had to call to find out how to get the old features back. I will buy and older version if I ever find one.

It serves my purpose. I wanted a basic low cost, easy to use system. I was tired of using my smart phone as my GPS especially when a call comes in while driving. Easy to use, had it up and running within a few minutes.

Very large and clear picture. I like that it shows the picture in picture of the exits/turns. It even shows which lane you need to be in. Category selections are very easy to read and understand also.

I drive a truck for a living and this is a perfect thing to have. Shows me my speed what the speed limit is on most all roads and gets me right where I need to be.

I bought a garmin for vacation. It was only $100 and it has free updates on the map. I loved it! It came in very handy and I am more comfortable with my daughter using it than her phone for navigation

I will only buy Garmin GPS units, have been the most reliable and best GPS's I have ever owned this is one I keep in my work vehicle the other Garmin I own is a much better model but love them both

I really like this GPS. I would recommend to anyone.

This GPS is awesome. It not only tells which the shortest route to destination but will also announce which lane you need to be in on each intersection so ther is very less possibility of wrong path

Mt first GPS receiver, and it's excellent for my needs. Always look for the LM to get lifetime map updates. This model doesn't get traffic updates, but that is a minor issue. Well worth the cost.

Our new garmin is very easy to use. We have one garmin already so we knew that it would be a great quality product. Very pleased with it as well as the assistance we received when we purchased it.

I think the cases should always come with it for the price you pay. It is great to have updated maps free because of all the new construction constantly going on.

Purchased as a gift for my 18-year old daughter. A nice, low cost basic GPS. We own other Garmin GPS units and overall have been satisfied with them.

This is my second Garmin GPS, the first one worked well, but after years of use, it was time to replace it, this time with a similar model, with lifetime updates, that sealed the sale for me.
