replacement GPS for a Garmin that died... this one is easier to use and isn't always telling me to turn around and go back... haven't used it yet out of my area but so far, so great!

I've used Tom Tom's in the past and was hesitant to switch. But not to worry with this unit. Does everything simply, bought it for my eighty year old dad, and does it well.

I replaced my old Garmin. The new one DOES NOT say "route recalculation" when you make a mistake. Rather, it keeps giving the alternate directions until you get to your destination. At one point, it sent me all around a lake instead of telling me "route recalculation" and saying "make a U-turn." So it is best, when using any GPS, to look on a map or use Mapquest BEFORE you start your journey.

Bought this Garmin GPS for my daughter and she loves it. First time she used it she avoided a construction zone and a long wait.

My old GPS died and I was in the market for a new one. I chose this Garmin because it was on sale, and the reviews seemed pretty good. This is my first Garmin and I have to say that I love it! I love that it speaks the street names.. and my mom, who is often with me, loves that it shows the lanes in an extra map, so if I need to take a right, she knows exactly which lane I should be in. I would definitely buy Garmin again.

My grandpa loves the device. It has a great screen on it and the gps working perfectly. But the Bluetooth audio is a little shoddy can hardly hear on it. Other than that it's perfect!

I had used my iPhone for a GPS on my motorcycle but it just drained my battery. So I wanted a permanent GPS to mount on my bike. The staff recommended this one and I am thoroughly satisfied.

Very good GPS unit. Has off ramp screen, good sound and very accurate so far. This is a very basic unit good deal for the money.

I bought this for our summer road trip. Very helpful. I have had no problems and it is very easy to use. I got it on sale and it was considerably cheaper than the other models

My old GPS was never updated so decided to buy a more up to date one--one I don't have to remember to update! Easy to program directions,also other venues! Highly recommend!

I've now had the GPS for a little less than one year and have been very pleased so far. The updates for the maps took a little bit of time but it's free so I can't complain about that.

Just enter the address and it will direct you right there. Post picture of interstate turn signs so you can verify your exit. Alerts you when you approach a school zone.

Garmin makes great products, and this one is perfect when you don't need all the frills of higher end models. With lifetime map updates, that's a bonus you can't pass up!

Nice features, easy to read, a bit complicated to enter address( can't enter zip first) If you don't require a high end GPS, nice, I don't care for the pink route much.

Purchased Garmin for recent trip to Maui. It worked wonderfully, especially in areas where cell reception was lost on phone. It was very easy to program in locations.

this a great gps for the price. programming your destination is simple and navigation is easy to follow. not a lot of extras just simple navigation and it works perfectly.

I bought this 5inch Garmin GPS after my old GPS Garmin was stolen. I love this one since it has more features than the one I used to have. It worths the money to buy it!

I owned a Tom Tom before buying this product and would never go back. The Garmin product is so easy to view while driving and the maps are laid out for anyone to follow.

It's ok for the price but upon purchase and when trying to turn it on for the first time it just wouldn't move beyond the welcome point. I went online and found out how to troubleshoot it but it wasn't an easy process. Garmin says on their site this is a recurring problem with this model. Why are they still selling it? Also, it turned off on its own several times while on the highway so not cool. I've had it for one month now.

I had a Garmin GPS for 10+ years before it died, and I loved it. Therefore, I purchased another Garmin. I've been using it for several weeks now, and it works great!
