This GPS unit works well for navigating unfamiliar territory. Provides good information on lane position. FourSquare utility is useful.

I only had my old Garmin for about 5 years. Wow! what a difference 5 years can make. If you are still using a dated GPS, I highly recommend updating!

Garmin Nuvi 57 LM is great for directions and portable to take from car to car or pack in luggage. Easy use and easy to hear and read

My GPS quit working and I needed a replacement. Best Buy had just what I was looking for -Garmin Nuvi 57 LM at a good price.

I wish it did a split screen like my old Garmin. But other than that it works great. And price very good compared to others with the same features

This GPS was a replacement for an older model Garmin. Update your maps before use. The map that was loaded was a very old version.

A solid GPS unit that gives directions, though it doesn't always give the best route, it doesn't give you quick shortcuts that you pick up when living in a location. I like that the unit gives you street names when giving directions, and it also has lane assist when exiting highways. Its easy to input directions and you can customize what landmarks the GPS will display.
