This GPS worked like magic on my trip to the san gabriel mountains!! it is very portable and clear when the brightness setting in chosen, it's also great for everyday use on freeways and streets!

Seems to work great and there is seemingly very little lag especially when recalculating a new route. This unit is so much faster than the old one at least as far as the menus go. Overall very nice upgrade from our old 7+ year old model.

Works good but the landmark feature did work once.

We've had a Garmin for a long time but needed an upgrade. This model does a great job and isn't the top model. If you are driving in the USA this one is an excellent performer for the money. If you are driving overseas, get the next upgrade.

I really like this GPS. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is that Garmin doesn't update their maps as often as they should. Otherwise, I love it. I love that I can search for a place without having the address and it will find most places.

So far it has been a little perfect angel. I've always wanted a Garmin and now I have one. I call it Little G and it sits perfectly in front of my stick shift so it can't be seen by others and know it's there .... I Love It

The cord on our previous Garmin broke; it was 10 years old. We were on the highway and needed to replace it for the trip. Ran into best buy and after reviewing it online made this purchase. Great performance....love Garmins!

This is a good product for the price. I would give it 5 stars but for the following: 1. it needs updated 2-3 times year and the maps are pretty big. 2. It can take you on the wrong routes sometimes, especially when dealing with contruction.

I've used this product for out of town travel and it worked perfect. I liked the fact that it showed destination time, speed and arrows for the direction you will be going when you get off the main highway you're traveling.

This is my second Garmin GPS. My Family is always using my first one. So I bought a second as a backup. Purchased it on Black Friday for an excellent price. Best Buy is the only place I shop for electronics. Staff is great.

The air conditioner was nice since the apartment has no AC and we were burning up. The only problem was that the apartment windows slide back and forth so I needed a piece of weather stripping to make it fit correctly.

This is the third Garmin we purchased. All of us now have our own. Most now use their phones navigation system for travel. We like to use the Garmin because we do not want to tie up our phone and use data for navigation.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. He has used it a few times and claims that it displays accurate information. I have an older model one and it still works perfectly so I hope that this one lasts a while for him.

plugged it in and it worked. Split screen when you are supposed to turn or merge is really nice. Plenty of volume to hear instructions. Easy to see the screen, even in bright daylight.

This is a really good basic GPS. I use it in the truck and on my motorcycle when we go on long trips. When it's really sunny out and we're riding it can be a little challenging to see the screen. Still a great product.

Good gps for a low price. I did like my previous gps a little better because this one doesn't show the exit ramps as clearly. It also beeps when you are 1/2 mile from a school zone, which was confusing at first but I've gotten used to it.

Garmin is always a great product. I bought this Garmin only because lines were starting to appear across the screen of my older Garmin, purchased several years ago, due to normal aging. Great price for a great product.

My son was using iPhone GPS, drained his battery. Got him the $149 Garmin for $99. Love the Best Buy discounts. I'm jealous he has lifetime updates, my old Garmin dont. The touch screen is better than my old one too.

Previously had a nuvi 55 for several years. The 57 is a nice update. Screen is easier to read and is very visible, important with my cataracts. The touch screen is more sensitive and easier to use. Maps are improved.

I love this gps. Had a old one about 12 years old and left it in a rental car. This unit is so much better. Great graphics. Very clear on what exit and the split screen showing what the exit sign looks like is great.
