I read a lot of reviews and did my research and thought I found the perfect fit for me I love the reminder to move every hour. I love the ability to connect to my phone for texts and calls (I turned off all other alerts because that was too much personally). The step counter was great. The activity tracker works well. The sleep tracker helped me figure out how well I slept. Overall I loved this one and raved about it. Then the screen starting fading. It was about 4 months in so I did some research and found out some people had that issue but garmin replaced it for them. I sent mine in and got a new one. It was great until my dog ate it. So I got a new one froom best buy. That day when I turned it on the screen was already faded. I got another one by exchanging it. Same problem. I tried one last time at the store. This one was the worst of all. I couldn't even see the numbers to tell the time or how many steps. Is that a 1 or 7?! So now I'm waiting on my replacement from garmin. But they upgraded me to the vivosmart hr because they couldn't guarantee that the new one wouldn't have the same issue. I hate being out the watch for a week so I decided to do the upgrade just because they don't seem to have the same screen issues. I would not count on garmin doing that for you by the way. That was above and beyond for me. I'd still recommend this but keep in mind that the screen may fade from the outside and garmin does guarantee a good product so they will replace it and it's fairly hassle free.

This was a gift for my daughter and she is very happy with how it works she has stated she loves that it gives her messages from her phone and all the other features work great!

Best fitness band on the market. The Fitbits are just as sleek, but have tiny and/or no displays at all. Other bands are bulkier and/or don't offer the same great selection of colors.

Very comfortable and small on wrist. I like the wrist notifications. Works well for running and my other routines. Sometimes bluetooth disconnects and can be a pain to reconnect.

More versatile than a FitBit. Measures activity and sleep.

Received this for a Christmas present. It easily synced with my iPhone. Love the notifications. I don't spend as much time looking at my phone now. Plus, it keeps me moving!

I love this tracker and the learning functions. It automatically adjusts the daily goal for number of steps, and raises or lowers the goal according to the average daily achievements. I also like how the device indicates light or deep sleep. My one complaint is the display on the band appears to be missing a row of pixels.

After a lot of research this was what I ended up selecting for my girlfriend after having her check it out and make sure she liked it. She loves the features and long battery life and says it's extremely comfortable and fashionable. If it keeps her healthy, I'm happy too. Paired easy with her phone (GS5). Icons are a little hard to figure out unless you read the instruction manual on line first. She thought the foot steps icon was a Windows logo until we looked it up - ended up having a good laugh over that. But once we read the legends she was able to figure out with a glance what was going on.

Very user friendly & battery life is pretty good!!

My wife and I have each been using our Garmin Vivosmart for a couple of weeks now, and we're very happy with the performance. You can set up the Vivosmart to notify you of incoming text messages, emails and calls by matching it to your IOS device. Of course the device does a great job of tracking your steps and runs throughout the day.

Bought it for my wife after trying the Fitbit and she seems to like it better. Says its way more Comfortable and is pretty accurate with her steps and floors climbed

Bought it for my wife who runs often. It seems like a great product. I was comparing with Fitbit prior to purchase and ended up buying this because she has Forerunner watch. A few of my complains is short battery life and synchronize with smart phone. Vivosmart and Forerunner cannot connect to the phone at the same time.

I spent a few weeks researching activity trackers and ended up purchasing this one after looking in store. It works well and does everything I wanted. The only thing I don't like is that it is difficult to know when you battery is low. There have been a few times where I never saw the low battery signal and the device died.

I just love the way it looks and battery life is decent considering I used it a lot and only have to charge every 3 days.

I love this fitness band...much better than the fitbit I had...I forgot to take it off the charger today and went to work without it and I felt lost without it.

I love this activity tracker. I just go on the app on my phone to check my progress all day. I love it because it's waterproof and I do a lot of water exercises.

This looks great and the screen is fantastic. The notifications tend to stop working and it hasn't been fixed yet. If they can take care of that this will be 5 stars. Out of the options that are currently available this is overall my favorite.

Bluetooth tends to disconnect a lot. Annoying! The actual band is actually useful though. The messaging app syncs pretty good when it's working. In broad daylight, it's rather hard to read but when it's dim around you, it's super easy to read.

The Garmin works well and does what I need. I would like the watch to notice when I am walking sooner. I feel that it doesn't "check in" again after I am sitting awhile. I am happy with the this product. My friend and I got them at the same time and are using them to challenge each other to move more.

This bracelet was exactly what I needed to get active. Keeps me on track during the day with physical movement and at night with sleep patterns. Love it!
