It works just as it is supposed to. A great watch for a great price. However, it seems to overestimate the distance traveled slightly and the app takes a while to sync with it (maybe a minute or two), but those are just the two minor problems I've had with it. Overall, I really recommend this watch.

How ever wish I would have bought the extended warranty, but being a well known brand thought I would be ok. After wearing it for about 6 months I decided to sat in my dresser for a little while, when I decided to start wearing it again I fully charged it and sad to say it only shows !/2 of a screen now. Very disappointed with it in not lasting very long for the price I paid.

To get the most out of the vívosmart, you should pair it with your smartphone and complete the setup using the Garmin Connect Mobile app. Unlike other Bluetooth devices that are paired from the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device; your vívoactive device must be paired directly through the Garmin Connect Mobile app.

The rechargeable battery in vivosmart can last up to 7 days on a single charge. Various factors including screen brightness, frequency of smart notifications, and frequency of heart rate monitor or speed sensor use can shorten battery life in between charges.
An issue was identified with iOS users and the Garmin Connect app with could have caused a reduced battery life. Software updates have been released for both the device, as well as the iOS, and Android apps that should have corrected the issue. These updates also strengthened bluetooth stability, which greatly improved syncing and reconnection.

I can use it when I cycle and cross train and get credit! One of the features I didn't know when I purchased it was the Bluetooth messaging. So now I am even on time for meetings!
