Great Fitness Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this fitness tracker for myself on Black Friday. It has awesome features and the beat part is that it is waterproof so I am able to swim with it. I've used it consistently for 2 months now and it seems pretty accurate. I have to charge it only once per week which is convenient. I am very pleased with this product.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this Vivosmart. I can take it in the pool and not have to worry about getting it wet. I don't have a cell phone that will work with it, but find I have no problem tracking my daily progress w/o it and can track my progress on line.

great fitness band
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this fitness band. Heart rate, steps, and notifications of calls/texts is great. I had a fit bit, which broke. I loved my fitbit, but this has so many more features. my only complaint is that it is bulky, which only bothers me when I am sleeping. but I am getting used to it being on my wrist while I sleep.

Posted .Thank you for the feedback. Very happy to hear you are enjoying the device. The HR does add a little more bulk to the band, compared to our other models without this feature. We recommend wearing it snug but comfortably. If you wish to submit this information for future models, you can do so at www.garmin.com/ideas. I bought this as a gift for my wife
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife isn't technology savy at all. After a fairly easy setup. I paired it with her android phone and it meets all of her need so far. The menus are easy to read and scroll through. I have the original Garmin Vivosmart and I might just upgrade.

Great Garmin for you
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this Garmin. When it links to your phone not only does it track heart rate, sleep, and steps, if you lose your phone it has a button that helps you find your phone by sounding an alarm and flashing lights, which worked great when I misplaced my phone in car one night. Sounds even if phone is on silent.

It's waterproof
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got it mostly for the water proof feature, it's not cute like the Fitbit and they don't have a big section of colors, the app needs work done to it, it's kinda complicated (hard to read) but if none of that matters to you then get it lol

Best on market so far.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I think this is the best so far it does have faults. The face is easy to scratch. It should be set in or have rubber around edge. They have a short life of about two years. It's the only one I'm aware of that you can wear to swim. Also longest battery charge of about 7 days.

really like this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.like the vivosmart HR; however, had to uninstall/reinstall Garmin Connect to get the band to sync with computer (I do not have a smart phone). Have issues getting the band to register my stairs -- for instance, today I have climbed the stairs three times and the band has yet to record those steps.

Posted .Thank you for providing us with your feedback. Although I'm happy to hear that you like your vívosmart HR, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble that you're experiencing when climbing stairs. The vivosmart HR has a built-in barometer that measure changes in elevation as stairs are climbed. The device will need to measure at least 10 feet of elevation change in order to display floors climbed. The following FAQ may be helpful, as it explains why an Activity Tracker may not accumulate steps while working out: http://bit.ly/1vHEFYc. Does what I need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tracker has done exactly what I hoped. I can view steps, heart rate, I sleep and calories burned. I've noticed that the steps may not be too accurate when I'm in the grocery store with my hands on the shopping cart and there seems to be a delay with my heart rate but overall no complaints.

Perfect tracker for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never owned a tracker before so can't compare. However, I really love this one. Accurate HR, stair counts, smart notifications, touchscreen, waterproof. I am more of a walker. swimmer and stair climber so perfect for me - if you are a runner may opt for the next model up with GPS.

So much better than my Fitbit Flex
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wore a Fitbit Flex for nearly 3 years and love the depth of information and functionality that's available in my vivosmartHR. I skate roller derby and many fitness trackers don't understand the motion. The only area where the vivosmartHR doesn't outperform my Fitbit Flex is in sleep tracking, but all of the other information is so much more valuable, I can live without the sleep stats. Having a pool, I love that it's waterproof.

Great fitness tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love everything about this fitness tracker! It counts all my steps including those in the pool! It's easy to use and compatible to phones to record your daily activity including heart rate and sleep. If you're very health conscious, this is the fitness tracker for you!

Nice activity tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice activity tracker that motivates me to move when I’ve been sitting a while. I like the display options and the size of the numbers and words. I like that it monitors my sleep patterns and sends me notifications that I’m getting on my phone. Although I wish it counted my steps based on GPS/distance, it’s a good first tracker for the money... you just have to be sure to move your arms when you walk for it to count the steps. I will probably pass this on to my son in a year or so and upgrade to something GPS enabled so I don’t have to carry my phone with me all the time.

Good but needs refined
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice product overall. Heart rate makes it worth the upgrade from original Vivosmart, but the barometer/stair counter needs work. At times I've had twice as many flights heading down stairs as up. But overall nice not to not have to put pin a chest strap up track my HR during a workout.

Posted .Thank you for the four-star review! We're happy you are enjoying the vivosmart HR so far. In regards to the "stairs climbed" feature, the device may not display that you have climbed floors while walking or running when the elevation has not increased by 10 feet at a grade of 8% or higher. If you have any questions, please contact us at garmin.com/support and we'd be happy to help. -LB

Garmin does it again.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already being a Garmin fan, decided to give this a try vs Fitbit and glad I did. The slight downfall (as with all bands) is the heart monitor is slight off and there's no way of truly tracking weight training workout. Being waterproof & the comfort are two of the biggest pros for me.

Product works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The documentation from Garmin is very weak for this product. They state to charge the device, but there is no documentation as to how long it takes or when the charge is complete. Additionally, there have been some syncing issues, but are usually easily resolved by rebooting phone.

Nice fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Vivosmart HR is an ice, reliable fitness tracker. This has been a great tool to keep me motivated and on track thruout the day, as is gives you a move command when you have been idle for too long. The battery life is 5 days, and the charging mechanism is much more reliable than the Fitbit I used to own. I really like the different screens and activities the device tracks (steps, heart rate, stairs) available. The app is very easy to customize and use. My only complaint is that the device is a little tall for my liking, but was not enough of a deterrent to not buy the Garmin.
