I purchased another unit which had to be set up on a pc which I don't have. The instructions sounded so complicated. So I returned that unit and bought the Garmin, setup was easy--no need to connect to a computer. I wear it daily tracking my walking as I'm recovering from back surgery. But the sleep information is really good, too. There are lots of other features that I'm not currently using but will in the future. I highly recommend this unit.

The garmin is great for tracking steps, calories, stairs, sleep, etc. I've enjoyed this one over the other fitness tracker I had. The perk is it tracks everything and you can read messages on it!! The only downfall I've found is you can only set one alarm.

This watch/activity tracker is everything I was looking for, it keeps track of my steps, sleep and heart rate like I wanted and its very comfortable. I don't have to worry about it getting wet like some other watches out there

I had ruined a couple of devices from other companies by getting them wet so finding a tracker with heart rate and waterproof was important. This one is great. Seems to measure heart rate accurately as well as activity and sleep. Sync is easy and the app presents information well.

Works as expected and is waterproof. Keeps track of your activity and reminds you to move.

I like how it tracks intensity when working out. Works well with Android phone, which was not the case with Fitbit. Syncs reliably. Functions as a watch. Built in HR monitor aids in planning exercise activity.

Waterproof, durable, strong, simple to use & the list goes on. Fitbit doesn't compare.

Gives good info. Wider display would help readability. In wide display mode you have to twist you neck to read. Decent battery life. Waterproof is an advantage.

I really like the watch in general. I really needed a tracker that could go in the shower. After the last update, the heart rate seems to be more accurate. I'm learning to put in my sleep times manually & it is helping me realize just how bad my sleep habits are.

I love this tracker. I'm impressed with the heart rate monitoring accuracy, and like the fact that it counts my flights as well as steps. I think the iOS App could use some more polish, but other than that I have no complaints and I'm very happy with my purchase.

You have to love the accuracy of this activity tracker. Also the comfort and size for the price. I like not having to worry about getting it wet. I do have a small issue occasionally with syncing it up with my smartphone but I think this is more operator error than anything. I do wish that they could put the time in a little smaller size so it all fits on the top line when you have it running horizontally instead of vertically on your wrist. Overall the accuracy and quality this watch is well worth the price I paid thank you so much if you get one hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Most competitors are only water resistant, it's waterproof. Also, gives a lot of notifications from your smart phone. Biggest pro for me was that it would communicate with Vitality, a fitness app that my company uses. Great product for the money. Highly recommend.

I did a lot of research and tried a couple trackers before finding this one. The functionality is good. It accurately tracks steps, flights of stairs, ect. Resting heart rate is pretty good but anything over 110 is hit or miss. Not good for solo workouts, I suggest using a chest strap for accurate data. Unfortunately (and this is where we lost 2 stars) you cannot currently pair a chest strap to the device or the garmin connect app (except garmin products) so my Polar H7 and the data I collect during my workouts is not added to my daily stats or information. The app does sync with Strava and MyFitnessPal for running, biking, and diet information. There is currently no good way to sync indoor workouts however.

very accurate many features are not applicable for me. dislike having to charge to computer prefer Ac charging difficult to program to my needs difficult to read in sunlight need room light will return to Fitbit would recommend based on friends excerise habit

I had been watching several fitness trackers and checking reviews prior to purchasing my Garmin Vivosmart HR. I am so happy I went with this one. Great features, awesome app, tracks everything I want it to, beautiful touch screen and it looks good too! I have been using my Vivosmart HR for about 2 months now and am more than satisfied. Definitely better than the fitbit and this one is actually able to go under water!

This Garmin fitness watch works and has worked great for me. I come from a Timex Brand fitness watch and this one works great. I have owned this Garmin watch for about a month now and I love the fact that it is water proof up to (164' ) so i am able to literally use this watch all the time. It is light on weight hardly gets stuck on my long sleeve shirts and it has a smooth look to it. It comes with a lip on the watch band so you don't have the extra band just flying around. It monitors my sleep very well-the watch automatically senses when you fall asleep so you don't have to literally program it to when you sleep. I really love this feature. Garmin-Connect app has a very colorful display very user friendly and most of all gives you insights to how many days you have reached your goal(s) activities and or even your sleep. If you have not meet your goals it delivers information and website links to help you achieve them.

I purchased this specific product because I wanted to be able to track my steps, heart rate, calories burned, miles walked...along with it being waterproof to go into the pool. So far this device has many options that I still have to master and take advantage of to fully appreciate it. Two things that I would change if I could: I'd have the messages be able to be viewed in a Portrait setting so I didn't have to keep turning my wrist to read them; I'd also make a brighter light or add a button that allows you to put a light on the display to view when dark.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas but, of course I had to unpack it first, charge it and play with it. I'm impressed. Small size but great functionality. The health tracking and real time heart rate are great and the link to the phone is seamless and easy. The phone link for messages and notifications makes it nice to not have to pull out your phone during a workout.

Tracks activity and sleep patterns. Easy to read. Battery lasts a good week. Charges quickly. Does just about everything. Like the linking to phone to get notifications; just have to be within 30 feet. Purple color is almost like having black. Syncs with MyFitnessPal
