Garmin - Vivosmart HR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the fact you can change the direction of the display. The software that you install on your phone is a little buggy at times, but for the most part works good. Heart Rate monitor is a plus!

A lot of features for the price. Not waterproof.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit is light and comfortable with accurate readings. I like the interface and ergonomics. What I didn't like was the absence of usability in water and the fact that it dropped days of data.

Posted .We're sorry to hear about the lost data! Please email [email protected] with details so our tech support team can look into it. As for the water resistance, the vívosmart HR does have a water rating of 5ATM (http://www.garmin.com/waterrating), so you can use it, rain or shine...or while swimming. It is true that HR won't work when submerged, but the device itself should function just fine when wet. -JPK

Does a good job with heart rate, activities
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had good results heart rate-wise with the vivosmart hr. my only complaint is that it doesn't work with the bike speed/distance sensor, I'm hoping that will come with an upcoming update.

Happy & Fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an older Garmin wearable that wasn't as robust as this one. I researched between this and the Fitbit and ultimately went with this because it was waterproof as opposed to just "splash proof". The ability to accurately track various cardio and running activities is very helpful so your constantly tracking your physical movement. Sync this with either MyFitnessPal or MyNetDiary and you're monitoring your intake on a whole different level. I only have to charge it every few days. One thing I noticed is that this actually tracks my running distance/time better than my phone apps. My mile times are actually better than I thought. Great purchase and you won't be disappointed.

Great device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This does everything advertised and more. It's been very accurate and the waterproof swimming feature is great. I only charge once a week and I can see everything on my phone. I love it!

Very good tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my Garmin Vivosmart HR Tracker for about 2 months now. It is very lightweight.....to the point that I don't notice it on my wrist most of the time. I really like the HR feature along with the stairs climbed and notifications (it syncs to you Smart phone for e-mail, text, and incoming calls notifications). Overall, I think this is a great tracker in the mid-price ($100 - $139) and feature portion of the category.

Waterproof is the key
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved my vivosmart. But the display lights were constantly going out. The vivosmart hr has a better display, but is much bulkier. My other could be worn 24/7, this band and its bulkiness make it uncomfortable to sleep in and less attractive -more noticeable. But the harm in is the only truly waterproof fitness band out there and since I spend a lot of time boating and swimming it's really my only affordable option.

Very good fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Vivosmart HR activity tracker is very easy to set up and use. It's slim fit is great for wearing throughout the day. The battery life seems to be excellent. The readouts of most activities are easily read, however, a few are very hard to read in some lighting situations. I like the alerts that monitor your activity and incoming messages from my phone. Overall I would highly recommend this fitness watch.

First month great, now not so sure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded in my vivosmart for this new one w/ HR and all was smooth sailing until about a week ago when it stopped tracking my steps on my Bowflex Treadclimber which is about 2500 to 3000 steps a day. It still tracks my non-machine steps though. The HR function seems to work well....I'm not ready to toss it as I'm not sure if it's user or device error.

tracking pulse Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not after Vivosmart for activity only but was after its ability and accuracy for tracking pulse 24 7 It is all the above. It has increased my activity. Love the large numbers on the time, and heads up on text messages. Great product I will recommend to family and friends

Easy to read
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found the tracker easy to read. Draw back the back of the tracker has put a sore spot on my arm. I've tried wearing it more lose but that didn't help. It keeps sliding to the sore spot when moved also. I can't get my sleep minutes I don't have a smart phone. It doesn't record for all my different activities. The band is very nice. If I had the chance to do the purchase again I'd skip the HR unit that has made my arm sore. I'd only recommend this to a man because of the arm issue . They may have tougher arms.

Handy Gadget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Garmin fitness tracker and its perfect for me. I basically want something to track my daily steps, show how far I've gone on specific outings and act as a watch. This tracker has more trappings like sleep tracking and heart rate which are not as important to me. The other main positive is a very long lasting battery. I only have to recharge it every 7-10 days.

Only product that would pair with my andraid phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fitbit would not pair with my android phone which is an LGl33l. The Garmin does everything well that I need. The only on is that it is a little bulky.

Wonderful tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched to the vivosmart hr from the polar loop. I love my garmon. Compared the hr to an emt hr monitor and it was accurate, just a bit delayed. Love that I never have to take it off unless charging. The floors counter does not seem to be accurate at all though. It does not even track it.

Just a great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a fitness/sleep tracker before and it was good, but Garmin has surpassed my expectations with the vivosmart HR. It's extremely accurate with counting step and even tracking sleep. I love all the functions the tracker allows you to have on your wrist. It's sleek, durable and precise. The app that you use is also very informative and detailed. Just a great product over all. The notifications you can receive on your wrist is great and the alarm you can set to wake up by vibrations is much nicer than a loud alarm clock. The connection with Bluetooth is smooth and can still be connected with Bluetooth headphones.

Excellent product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After researching all devices on the market, this looked like the best overall. It is working great, I wear it 24/7 and never have a problem. Tracks my sleep well. Sets goals for me based on my activity level. Stays connected to my phone so all notifications come through the vivosmart.

Excellent fitness band/'smart' watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item after my Microsoft Band 2 broke (only lasted 4 months). I chose the Vivosmart HR for a couple of key reasons, water resistance (no splash proof nonsense), HR monitoring, battery life and notifications. After using the Band 2 for months I like this so much better for several reasons: band comfort (it's barely noticeable), battery life, and visibility in the sun. The only downside for me so far is the sleep detection as it thinks I'm getting way more sleep than I am. Would recommend.

Great tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tracker for the price. Having notifications from a paired smartphone is very helpful. Accuracy for steps and distance appears to be pretty good.
