I was looking for a heart rate monitor without the chest strap. This tracker does that.

The activity tracker makes me keep moving and I need to do this for health reasons. It is easy to set up and keep track of my steps and heart rate.

My Garmin wearable fitness monitor is many times more helpful than the Fitbit that my spouse had bought for me. Approximately the same price as the Fitbit that my wife has, the Garmin has worked flawlessly over almost the year that I have had it. The charge last many days without the need to recharge. The Garmin is water resistant and shock resistant as well. Initially, I was uncertain if I would wear the Garmin past the health challenge that I purchased this for. However, after an initial breakin period, I wear this almost 24/7. Positively recommend this fitness monitor.

Love how the battery life last longer than a fitbit also the heart-rate keeps me steady when I go for a run . Love that its waterproof and track's your laps in the pool.

It work well with my garmin bicycle computer. The software show both cycling and other activity such as walkin steps. I like the time of day hart rate and weather

LOVE this activity tracker! The only negative is still that the heart rate sensor kinda digs into my bony wrist (I had a fitbit Charge HR that did the same thing) :( I love the smart notifications, alarms, sleep monitor, and that it's water proof. Holds charge for 3-5 days, if you're wearing it 24/7. No issues. Purchased on black friday and essentially got two for the price of one!

Finally all of the features i have wanted in one activity tracker: heart rate monitor on the wrist, backlit, activity timer, and much better and more secure strap. I love it.

I had the Garmin VivoFit before. I really liked it for just the basics. I got this one for my daughter when Best Buy had a really good sale. She wasn't sure she wanted one because at 20 yrs old it might not be "cool". When she works out she likes the fact she can see her heart rate, how many miles she has gone, etc but the BIG selling point with her was when she first put it on and it vibrated. She looked down and saw that a friend send her a snap chat message. She went to her phone and looked. Wow - she was hooked. She can get all of her notifications (Facebook, twitter, snap chat, etc). She loves it!!

This is perfect for what I need! It seems very accurate tracking steps and calories. I love that it syncs with MyFitnessPal. It has really helped get me over a weight loss plateau and get me more active and losing weight again. It's very easy to use and sync, and I've had no issue with the battery. I usually put it on the charger while I take a shower and my battery has stayed full. I've had it for about 6 months now. It's been worn in the water to the pool and at the beach. The only thing I don't like is that the screen can be easily scratched. Other than that, it's exactly what I needed and I love it!

Pretty easy to set up and start using. Some screens have very small print for my 60 years eyes! Likey more funtions than I will use, but, still easy to nav.

My wife uses her Vivosmart continually. The only time it's off of her wrist is for battery charging. She gets 5 days out of a charge. The tracking is excellent. We have not utilized all of the tracking features yet but continue to be impressed with the available data and notices. When deciding what to purchase, the waterproof feature was the deal maker. My wife wears the Vivosmart to the gym for aqua-aerobics and a host of other exercise programs. She is delighted with the Vivosmart.

Water proof, connects with a range of different apps, easy to navigate. Hit or miss on HR tracking sometimes. Counts me as climbing stairs when I am not.

This is my second Garmin fitness tracker. It does really well at recording steps, but it is questionable with stairs. It get 1 of 3 usually.

Got it for my wife for xmas, she loves it so far. best feature on there is the find my phone feature, makes it worth it just for that. other features are great too. she likes it better than the fitbit because she can swim/snorkel with it and it has a HR monitor, and gps

I bought the Vivosmart HR almost a year ago after researching for an AT with favorable reviews. I've owned a Nike Fuel band and currently have a Garmin 920XT which is my running watch but is also an excellent activity tracker in itself, with a GPS and HR monitor (via chest strap). I wanted to buy an activity monitor that was fashionable and that measured the HR through the wrist. I haven't been disappointed in it. The charge lasts about 5-7 days and the gathered metrics compile a good picture of your activities, viewed through Garmin Connect's website. I'm pleased with this purchase.

The vivosmart was a decent tracker but had quality issues as I went through 3 devices in less than 1 year. This second iteration is far better qulity, albeit a bit bulkier. Overall a great device with fairly accurate HR sensor compared to my chest strap HR sensor.

Great Garman step counter with built-in heart rate wrist based. Great addition to the Garman family I have I love the fact we interact Garman connect and love the broadcast mode that you can do her heart rate rode him to wear a heart rate strap with Herman of 520

Has same features the Fitbit Charge HR plus a few more. 1. Move notification if you have been inactive too long 2. Goals are adjusted according to what you did the day before. 3. And the most important. Water resistance to 50 meters and you can swim with it.

My wife purchased as a gift for me. I am surprised at how much I love it. Helps to remind me to stay active. Measures steps, calories and heart rate. Connects via Bluetooth to my phone. Lets me know when I am getting a call or allows me to preview messages. So far (2 months) i have lost 12 pounds just by remembering to "move". When my wrist vibrates I get up and walk around the building or climb a flight of stairs or two. Only down side is it doesn't always track the correct number of stairs i have climbed. The accuracy for the steps is close enough for me.

I love that this let's me know when I get emails or text messages on my phone and gives me the first couple of lines so I know if it is important to reply to. I also love the heart rate monitor and it syncs easily on my android phone.
