It last a long time between charges (usually 3-4 days) and charges overnight. I am able to use the app to view data and it encourages me to move with vibrations throughout the day. Excellent purchase!

Good for a starter

I like the move bar and vibration if you have been sitting too long. This helps keep me moving towards my daily goals. The stair counter does not always keep the correct number of stairs so some days I have to do a couple extra to make it show on the tracker. I like the way it fits and is not bulky.

My flights sometimes are a little off though. I like that i can wear this in the shower and that the software updates on its own. great buy, would definitely recommend.

I like that you can see your texts/calls on here in case your phone isn't right with you. I guess if I had anything negative to say, it would only be that it seems a little too big on my arm. I have skinny arms though.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking at getting a Fitbit charge HR but the sales rep explained the Garmjn Vivofit hr did everything the Fitbit can do plus it's waterproof which Fitbit is not. I wear it in the shower and swimming and have not had any issues. The battery life is pretty great too. I can go an entire week before having to charge it.

The optical heart rate sensor on the vívosmart HR uses light to penetrate the skin and estimate your heart rate. To ensure that you’re getting the best heart rate accuracy, please follow these guidelines:
- Ensure that your wrist is clean and dry.
- Ensure that the watch is snug fit.
- Wear the watch on the outside of your wrist, away from your wrist bone.
- Avoid wearing the watch over dark tattoos.
- Ensure the green lights on the watch are functioning.
Keeping the device software up to date is important as well, as updates are released periodically to improve the watch’s functionality. Accurate and durable

I gave my watch to my mom because she uses it to keep track of messages when she's at work, I just want simplicity and that's what the VivoSmart HR is; simple. This thing is REALLY accurate in counting miles and distance ran. I do a lot of running outside and on the treadmill (sometimes treadmills aren't always accurate for counting miles) and this thing keeps up with me. If you are a fitness junkie and want to watch your active calories, sleep and heart rate, this is amazing for an affordable cost! One thing I will mention, this watch is NOT for entertainment or notification purposes like the Apple Watch for those who don't know much about this watch. You will receive notifications (you can disable them if you'd like) but you can't respond back to them. Like I said, it's nothing too over the top fancy, but fitness-wise I absolutely recommend.
