The device is accurate and reliable, I use it everyday and I work in a lumber yard. It can withstand most of you day to day run ins and handle most forms of impact.

First activity tracker for me, but has met all my expectations for one. Have the HR feature enabled all the time and lasts a good 4 days before needing to be charged.

I have tried five other fitness bands, four of which did HR. This one is the most water proof and that is something that I want. Two of the other HR bands did not do what they said they were going to do and went back quickly. Another stopped syncing and the company did not respond to my calls or online help request. So far, the Garmin is doing everything well. Do I think all the info is dead on - no. I think it is mostly for reference. It might be and that would be great, but for now I am pleased with the data that it supplies. The notifications are hard to read and I don't use the music control. Mostly I walk and often I do not have my phone (how many can really survive 30 mins in the rain?) - so those functions are not needed anyway. If it last longer than the others and continues to work as it has, I will bump up my rating.

This is an excellent tool for tracking your daily activity. It is also a motivator to help get you moving and to set higher goals. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

This did not fit around my wrist. I returned it an bought a FitBit before using it. Best Buy does not carry the larger strap version than an adult male could use. According to Garmin's website, it is waterproof to 5 ATM. But, i saw nothing of this on the box to indicate this. It also will let you control the music on your phone. These features are why I give it 2 stars and not 1. As it is, without having an optional longer strap to purchase or unit with a longer strap, it is useless, since it cannot be worn by a typical sizes adult male. I am very disappointed that there are no optional straps available for this. Garmin obviously thought this was good idea, since they do sell straps for the vivofit 2. If you can't wear it, the quality and features are meaningless. There is a guide on the box. Check this before purchasing.

I love the Vivosmart HR. It does everything I wanted it to do. The step tracker has changed my behavior, since I am so much more aware of my activity levels. I also love the sleep feature, giving me feedback on my sleep pattern. The product easily syncs to my lap top and my smart phone. I can also add via the computer, other activities I engage in. All in all, very happy with this Fitbit.

It's bulky for something you want to wear with everything. Dress shirts, esp. w/French cuffs can be awkward. That said, the features are fantastic. It interacts well with my iPhone for alerts, etc. and having some resistance to water is great.

I find the heath/fitness watch quite handy. Seems to log quite well, but I still need to adjust my stride settings, as it seems a bit longer in distance. I like the sleep monitor, and paring up to other apps a great benefit,as well as the message area. Battery seems to run out quickly and it is a bit uncomfortable, especially at night, otherwise I like what it says and does.

Just wish I could wear it swimming !! Battery life is decent.

I bought this for my daughter as a gift who hadn't really had a watch and wanted to start tracking her activity. I bought it based on all the reviews. On the plus side, my daughter loves some of the notifications she gets when she doesn't have her phone in her hand (text, call, etc). She likes that it's tracking all her steps and activity. On the downside, the iPhone app isn't very intuitive. FitBit does a better job presenting/visualizing the data and understanding the data than Garmin. So for Pros or people willing to spend time understanding the app and data, probably a good buy. For newbies, could be a bit much trying to understand it all.

Great addition to my workouts. I currently have a garmin 910X which is great for running, biking and swimming. Was looking for another type of watch that could track my heart rate, steps throughout the day in addition to tracking my heart rate during a heavy bag workout. This fit the bill perfectly. Also tracks sleep rhythms. Highly recommend this watch and Best Buy, great service!

Easy to use, has lots of features. Nice Large screen to see the time, and other displays. The heart monitor is pretty accurate, compared it to the Drs office, it was right on. My Dr recommend the Garmin. I also like the sleep monitor, it shows how well you sleep. Purchased at a good price. The only thing is that it needs to be charged once a week. Find that to be an inconvenience.

My husband and I both have this tracker and just purchased another for my mother in law. We love the statistics it provides you. Sometimes the updates can affect accuracy, for example, the method for calculating intensity minutes changed on us which makes things a bit hard to track over time. Even with the small inaccuracies, we both love it.

I absolutely love my Garmin activity tracker... The HR is pretty accurate

This unit had all the features that I wanted and I liked the screen layout better than other options. It's accurately tracking my steps. The move bar reminds me to get out of my chair at work. I like that I can set the screen to light up when I make a motion to look at the face. I'm even excited about features I didn't think I'd care about, like controlling streaming from my favorite music app. There are a few things I'm not trilled about. I've managed to scuff up the screen in less than one month, and I had a bruise from sleeping with it for the first week because of the heart rate monitor (I sleep sometimes with my hand and wrist under the pillow or under my body). The bruise went away, but it still can be a little uncomfortable with the way I sleep.

I like to track my steps and count my calories as I exercise and my garmin is perfect for that. It also notifies me who is calling or texting.

I love that this is water resistant (as deep as I'll ever snorkel) and has continuous heart rate monitoring. I dislike that I can't select which apps will notify me and which won't (at least I haven't been able to figure that out.)

Garmin quality is known to all. I upgraded to garmin vivosmart from vivacity. HR feature is an add on to the other great featurEscape. I recommend this tracker to all who is looking for accurate tracking of activities and heart rate

Always loved Garmin products and this Vivosmart HR is no disappointment. Battery life is good for 3 days.....
