Okay, I can't find my original review of this tracker, but here are my impressions after 90 days. Initially, I had some issues getting the tracker to sync, and report my sleep cycles. About the time I was considering returning it to Best Buy, it started working. I needed a tool like this to assist in a conditioning and weight loss regimen I started in mid-January, 2018. My buddies at the local fitness nutrition store suggested I would get the best use out of the tracker if I downloaded UnderArmor's free My Fitness Pal app to my phone, which I did. All I can say is, after 90 days, this tracker is the BOMB! Through much hard work (workouts at the local gym) and using My Fitness Pal to track my intake and exercise (even daily walking), I have lost 15 pounds, and am very close to my ultimate goal. The Garmin tracker doesn't do everything, but it does what I need, and is much cheaper than some of the other Garmins and other brands. You can't go wrong if you use it correctly.

I bought this for my teenage daughter and she loves it! It has good battery life and very comfortable to wear. She like the fact that she can read text messages on the display and it is water proof.

I wanted a tracker that I could wear in the shower and pool and this one works great. The heart monitor and sleep tracker and are very good as well as the online page and the app. Battery life is close to a week and only takes about 45 minutes to charge. Used to have a fitbit and so glad I switched.

The watch is comfortable, the calorie and step counters are great, but the stair counter and heart rate monitor are not consistent. The watch needs to be in precisely in the right spot or the heart rate monitor will not read accurately. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.

Pros - Really like it. Better than having a strap around chest. App on cell phone. Cons - Battery Life needs to last longer than 4 days. Battery port could be easier to attach to watch.

Got it mainly so that I can easily and consistently monitor heart rate during workouts. Price was great for quality Other features/ functions seem ok but I don't use as much

I love this Garmin, easy to learn the features and to sync to your computer and love the wake up in the morning.

My wife wanted a fitness band for Christmas this year. She asked for a 'fitbit' but did not like it at all. Exchanged it for the Garmin because I have both the Garmin golf GPS and 2 Garmin GPSs. So far she has no complaints with her activity tracker. I will let her update this in 3 months.

This is definitely a step up from the smartrate that I had before. I have tiny wrists (so much so that a Fitbit won't even adjust to fit my wrist) and in this I still have two extra slots to make it tighter. I love all of the features, especially seeing the instantaneous HR and average HR. It's pretty accurate, user friendly, and charges quick (just the time it takes for me to shower. Note: it is NOT waterproof or even really water resistant so take it off if you are doing dishes, bathing a baby, taking a shower/bath, etc.

Awesome devise, useful for those who monitor their physical activity. Easy to use and understand.

useful tool in addition to smartphone. would like to see if garmin has changeable wristbands like the fitbit.

I love how easy the garmin vivosmart hr is. It keeps track of everything, steps, running how fast a mile, sleep, heart rate. It has a regular watch band not a punch button one like Fitbit. I had a Fitbit and this is so much better., got for $90 by watching sales. Best Buy price matches!!

Very precise! Not too big or bulky! Love it! Does anything you could ask and updates fast for great tracking!!

Great device that is easy to use. Brought it for my daughter who is 15 and she was able to use it immediately.

This device does all the tracking you want, including heart raye from your workout, run or walk. The thing I like best is that it also takes a shower or a swim also! Battery lasts several days and syncs with your smartphone flawlessly.

I love that I can exercise in the pool with it. Steps are accurate to the extent you move your arm with you steps (won't count steps on cross-trainer if arms are stationary).

I was glad I checked the reviews before buying a fitbit. This fitness watch works just as well.

I really like the Garmin vivosmart +HR tracker. A very good interface and Garmin connect app with lots of information. I personally have had some issues with it tracking stairs correctly. One day I checked it and in two hours time I know for a fact I climbed a flight of stairs 3 times, but it did not record any of them.Another day I climbed 3 steps into the house and it showed them as a full set of steps (which is supposed to be 10' height increase). Steps and heart rate seem to be fairly accurate most of the time, but you do get some false steps from time to time. Sleep monitor seems to be very accurate for me.

I bought this watch after my Microsoft band 2 snapped after 4 months and have been really impressed so far. The Garmin is super comfortable, long battery life, easy to read screen and its waterproof (which is a huge plus). At this point I can't really think of a draw back. Would highly recommend.

Choose this over a Fitbit because I love the fact that I can take this swimming. Just yesterday, I was in the Atlantic Ocean, swimming around for hours. Love that it can stand up to daily "abuse" of active wear and tear. I drive a hour to school so once a week, that's when I charge it. Love it
