wanted both a step and activity tracker and a heart rate sensor. so far has worked out great. requires some tech savvy. I have Garmen GPS for cycling, and this compliments it well. sometimes not counting heart rate accurately (not sure why) will check instructions for trouble shooting.

This was first bought for me but I changed my mind to a Fitbit pendant. My husband now wears the Garmin.

Didn't appreciate follow up via email BEFORE Christmas. Both of us on email account. Spoiled surprise!!!

I got this device to my wife. She is so excited regarding the quality and what she can track using this Gamin device. I'm hearing everyday a new thing from her and I'm going to buy on to me as well :)

I love the ease of use. I can keep track of my steps, heart rate and only charge every five or six days.

Water Proof with Heart Rate. Has a phone locator. Bigger screen than Fitbit Charge 1 & 2. Last 5 days even if you sleep with it. Good for Windows Phone 10 users. The only issue is that you need additional app to track stuff like calorie usage. Connects well and you have full usage of notifications for Windows Phone Users. Works even better if your not using Windows Insider - less buggy. I'm using a Verizon Lumia Icon on the Windows Phone 10 Insider Program.

I had the first one vivosmart smart and it was good but I feel the vivosmartHR is better at keeping steps better & I love the stair counter on it!! I love the look of HR & easier to read text on too!

Frankly I was wary of wrist based HR monitors but thought Garmin would design one for athletes not just for fitness. Sadly I was wrong. While this may be ok for tracking steps and sleep the HR monitor was worthless for me as a cyclist who trains. For example, after a 3 hour ride at a decent pace (18-20 mph), the Vivo indicated I had worked out for 28 minutes.

I bought this to replace a HR activity tracker without a display. This turned out to be an excellent HR tracker and more. The touch screen allows scrolling through various data fields like HR, time, steps, calories burned, distance, stairs climbed, messages on my phone, and controls for my music player. The only con is that it does not record distance for cycling. I have a Garmin 810 that has metrics for cycling, so, it is not a huge problem.

we bought it for my wife and she loves it.... it holds upper hand that fitbit Charge HR because it has a good display which keeps you notified about your email and u can also change songs and stuff

There have been some issues with the operation. The recipient wants to go to Best Buy for resolution.

Water proof, durable and easy to use. My kids love them and never take them off, but to recharge battery.

I bought this to help me moniter my workouts and heart rate. Love the fact it is water-proof and easy to use!

I have to admit I was looking for something that can give me not just step because I needed to have my heart rate check constantly and inexpensive that also give me the chance to also add exercise to the mix. I am loving this product a lot. Drawbacks is battery need to be improve I don't mind having to charge every four to five days because I constantly using the heart monitor and that is what makes the battery not last. Otherwise I am enjoying the product.

Had trouble getting started using my Garmin VIVOsmart HR. Couldn't even download the "Manual" to get started. Had to go in and have the Geek Squad help me (they couldn't get the manual to download either). Thank goodness for "Agent Toxin". He was patient and managed to get at least the basics, plus some, working. Since he couldn't get the Manual to download, he suggested I go through goggle.com to get it (haven't done that yet, so hope it works). Other than that, I am getting my readings on a daily basis - be careful to keep the watch and phone charged so you are receiving info. If you don't, it will have to sync. again and that takes a while. I am not a pro at using this type of thing, but think at least it motivates me to keep moving, etc., so that I can keep track of my daily activities, heart rate, steps, etc. Would be great if it was made so not as hard to understand and get around to find info you want. In other words: More user friendly !

I use this device to know my step count and my overall workouts per day. it gives good details about my idel time and steps taken. but missing with stairs claim count. battery stay for 3 days with out charging, i have not left with out charging more than 3 days, so i am not sure will it stay longer !!!! heat rate is approximate reading with my BP machine. for eg - BP reading shows 76 pulse , garmin will say 75 just 1 reading here and there.

Very nice and comfortable. It just doesn't do everything i need so i will be upgrading.

Comfortable wearing band. Wished the battery stayed charged longer and that instructions were included. Only had approximately a month and haven't learned still how to use all it's features:( may be geared more for younger market.

Device is still working like a pro, unlike Fitbit users that have experienced failures. My spouse loves this device. Purchase Garmin with confidence. BB easy purchase as well!
