This garmin counts steps, flights of stairs. I like that it buzzes when you get a call or message on your phone. It often buzzes when gets too far from phone that gets a little annoying but all and all I am very happy with the device.

I really like the look and features of the Garmin but noticed it does not calculate stairs accurately. Other than that I’m pretty happy with it.

Truly a great running tool and I'm already considering another purchase.

Purchased this at a Black Friday price which was a great price. Purchased it to count steps in Disney but found myself using it before and after the trip. With the phone app you get all kind of information. Very pleased with it.

Compared a number of fitness trackers before choosing this one. Love the smart notifications - but the main reason I went with the Garmin Vivosmart over competitors was that it's water resistant. This feature sets it above. Tracking capabilities work well - everything from steps to heart rate to sleep.

For the price you can't go wrong it has a heart rate monitor, a bigger display screen than most, a user friendly app to sync all information in and it has a scratch resistant screen. Only bad thing is battery doesn't last too long

Great way to stay active or to stop being the normal fat American. This Garmin vivoSmart HR reminds you to move if you are a desk jockey and are siting more than a hour. When notified to move go for a short 2-3 minute walk. I went from walking 6000 steps to avg 12,000 and ensure I walk everyday. If you don't have time to go to the gym walking can add a change to your waist and help kill those calories from the morning jelly donut. Great buy and bought the 2 year coverage that will replace the watch If it breaks or mechanical malfunctions. If you are a gent/lady who is a body builder or is over 200lb buy the large or ask to try it on. (If you have large wrist in general) Try it before you buy it as this is an investment for your health. If you dont like it you have a 15 day trial period with BB. My wife and I are both on diets/lifestyle changes. We each purchased a Garmin because we wanted heart rate monitoring, and the ability to network with each other in tracking things so we could help motivate each other. The device works great, was easy to set up the software on my smart phone, and allow my wife and I to network our results together. Overall this was a very good purchase

My husband likes the product. Just know that the std band is small for a man. My husband could snap on the very last one. The XL band would have been better.

I love my Garmin Vivosmart HR works great no issues I don't sleep in it due to the HR part of the watch leaves my wrist sore but other than that it's great!

I bought this for my grandma. This is an awesome watch and very easy to use. The touch screen is very useful when she is not caring a smart phone with her.

it works good but I returned it for the Alta fitbit because I like it to be smaller than the Garmin. The garmin did work well though. I just wanted fitbit since I had one earlier.

Its a gift for the wife.. we really like this sport band.

trying to figure out how much rest a person is getting is almost as important as how much exercise their getting hopefully this will help.

I like it overall. The only reason it's not a 5 in my book is that is records me sleeping when I'm not and it does not accurately record all my flight of stairs. Other than that I'm satisfied. The walking steps are very accurate.

I received it as a Christmas present. I hope it is good.

Got this for the husband and he loves it. He's not a watch kinda guy, but it did what he wanted when it came to activity tracking and text notification.
