More arduous to program; doesn’t interpret exercises like running, elliptical, biking, etc. without first having to program. HR band is pretty gigantic on small boned wrist. Doesn’t credit stairs in my bi-level house because of 4’ foot landing dividing two sets of stairs.

I like the look, the screen, love that I don't need to take it off to shower, clean,etc. The price was great, I got it on Black Friday. I don't like that I can only set one alarm & the app is complicated (too much going on)

Must have especially if you are a swimmer. Heart rate does work under water

IT WORKED EXCELLENT, UNTIL THE STRAP BROKE & EVERY REPLACEMENT BAND I FOUND WOULDN'T FIT PROPERLY. SO IN THE DRAW IT WENT & IS STILL THERE 2 YRS LATER. THE STRAP WAS GOOD FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS. I CAN SAY THE APP & THE COMPUTER/DIGITAL END WAS JUST ABOUT PERFECT. I FOUND OUT THAT MY HAERT RATE WHILE SLEEPING DIPS INTO THE 30's & THAT I WAS CORRECT ON THE AMOUNT OF SLEEP I WAS GETTING; WHICH WAS ABOUT 60 TO A MAX OF 90 MINS A NIGHT. I JUST BOUGHT THE FITBIT VERSA 2 YESTERDAY, SO I'LL SEE HOW WELL IT HOLDS UP. HOPEFULLY IT TRACKS JUST AS WELL AS THE GARMIN DID, BUT WITH BETTER STRAP & OPTIONS TO REPLACE STRAP AS NECESSARY.

I owned a couple of Fitbit Charge HR's and this Garmin is definitely a step up at the same price point. Similar functionality to the HR+ but has a larger display and also can be worn while swimming which is one of the reasons I purchased. The only drawback from the Fitbit is the Smartphone application. The Fitbit app seemed more intuitive and was easier to use.

It's a great product but the heart monitor is a bit uncomfortable

The pros out weight the cons on this one. It does need to be charged almost every day. The accuracy was questionable until I started to wear the tracker on the inside of the wrist. The move feature is definitely a motivator.

Better then normal fitbits compatible with Apple phones

I have really enjoyed this product. It has taken me about a month to figure out all the features. I like that it is waterproof as well. The only thing that I wish is if it always had the battery icon visible all the time.

easy to use and love connecting to phone for activity data with friends. I also like that the vivo hr is linked to my phone for calls even when it is on silent mode. the only downside is that it has to be re-synced frequently.

Purchased for a Christmas’s gift for a family member.

Easy to set up and work great and does what it claims. Sleep tracker mode part good. Will worth the money

Bought for my teen daughter cor Christmas. Works great and she likes it better than her mothers fitbit. Only con is that it needs to be recharged every couple of days, the fitbit only needs to be rechared once every week

This one was for my wife, and she likes it. The only trouble she has with it, it sometimes loses sync with her phone. Then I have to get it re-synced for her. Bought one for myself, but don't get it till my b'day next month.

Love it, very accurate, love the sleep tracking and the heart moniter.

The good: notifications work really well with third party apps (unlike fitbit!). This product does all the basics well and intuitively. I've read from some that the heart rate monitor was not accurate, but I've found it works well. The "eh": I have a skinny wrist and this is pretty obtrusive. But, it's the least of all the other trackers I tried or reviewed.

I find that it is quite accurate. It is better than the FitBit Charge I had been using in every way except one - the battery life. I can only go 3 - 4 days between charges, but it does charge faster than the FitBit. I especially appreciate that it does not fall off as often as the FitBit does.

So this gadget is amazing. The display is good, the app is good, the heart rate monitor appears to be pretty accurate (compared to treadmill heart rate tracking during a workout -they were nearly identical). A great fitness tracker! I've now used three brands of fitness trackers, Soleus and Runtastic before, and this Garmin outshines them both by a landslide.

Best choice in activity tracker out there. Exceeds expectations.
