My nine-year-old grandson wanted this because a couple of his friends have them. He wanted to keep track of his daily activity, and I've seen an increase! He has compared his daily steps to an older adult only to find he needs to up his activity level significantly, a definite plus.

I decided to go with the Garmin HR tracker because I trust Garmin products. The reviews were great. It was easy to set up, sync with my iPhone and to use. So far it has been quite accurate. Loving it and the motivation to move.

I bought this for my wife. We needed a tracker that was waterproof. We were a little concerned about switching from Fitbit to Garmin, but it wasn't bad at all. It is very user friendly and didn't take long to get used to. I would highly recommend this Garmin because it's water proof.

I had a fit bit for a couple of years. I decided to make a change and happy that I did. Great product.

I’m pretty happy with this activity tracker. I’m not sure how accurate it is, but that goes for any tracker. The battery is great and long lasting!

Had 2 fitbits both failed - broke part with 6 months. This seems much better design and solid, good functionality great phone interface-just a little too large

This device... by far... is the best, most cost effective, tracker I have used. It works very well and gets distances correct. It connects to cell phone easily and can be used with more than one ap. I am so glad I bought this. It helped me get active. Since purchase I've lost 20 lbs.

Was skeptical about buying the product. But after reading reviews from buyers and magazines, I decided to do it. The product is all it says. The operation can't be easier with the app. Every thing you need is right on your phone. And the set up took no time at all. Very pleased.

I love this item. Tracks steps accurately and heartrate. Only issue is sleep tracking, it would say i was in deep sleep at 7 pm but i would not go to bed until 9pm.

Great watch. Better than fitbit charge hr. I work electrical construction and am a volunteer firefighter and I never take the watch off for either. It's survived a year so far. Still looks great and has full battery life/capacity. Buy this over the others and don't look back.

The Garmin does everything that I need to track walks, workouts and everyday activities, I did choose it because it had heart rate tracker @nd at the best price.

Found it did not accurately track my steps when running on a treadmill, was consistently short by 2 miles or more. I would recommend for someone just beginning a fitness program; the text and phone alerts were a bonus

I owned another Garmin which worked find. The only reason I bought this one was because I can wear it while swimming. The Heart Rate option was an added bonus.

So happy I waited instead of purchasing Fitbit HR. Very pleased with the performance of this product.

Love how I can track activity at the pool! Many people in my water aerobics class wear this as well. I also like getting the nudge to Move when idle for too long. Next iteration, I would like to customize the vibration so I can differentiate between email notification vs text.

It is not the slimmest wearable out there, but it is the easiest to read and has the best display. I use it with the Connect App as well as with the MyFitnessPal App to track all sorts of things. I mainly leaned toward this model for the heart rate monitoring and larger display. And I liked the purple colored band that I selected. The weather information, iTunes control and smartphone alerts are helpful too. The only bad thing that I have to say about it is the fact that monitoring the actual flights of stairs I climb each day is not very accurate. But I liked it enough to buy one for my daughter too.
