Bought it for my nephew and he loves it. Not sure how it compares to the other more popular brands.

Loved the fitness tracking. Built in heart rate, steps, stairs etc. Wouldn't do most of the smart watch stuff with my iPhone 6 Plus. Probably works better with Android.

I wish the mileage would register the same as my Fenix 3. It registers greater than actual mileage.

I purchased the Visosmart Hr primarily to keep an eye on my heart rate. The device after syncing with my smartphone does so much more. I would highly recommend the Visosmart hr for anyone who care about their health and may need a little encouragement to "move"even a little.

I really like it. The GPS works great. Battery last about 5 days. I wish it was more colorful and I wish it worked with Samsung Health.

Love the water resistance feature. The plastic piece that holds the band down broke. I had the warranty, and it was replaced with a new watch.

It is what it is. It is best suited for someone who needs a little motivation to get active again. Probably wouldn't recommend for the hard core runner. They need s dedicated GOS tracker. It works for me though.

This watch is perfect for me. Works perfectly! I like to swim, bike and run and this does it all.

I picked this band mainly because you can wear it in water up to 5 feet, so you don't have to take it off when washing dishes. It has a lot of nice features like getting your steps, etc at a glance, weather forecast, text messages, phone call notification and so much more.

In general, this product is good. The issues that are shared among other consumers of this product are that the heart-rate and intensity data have major issues that will cause the wearer to be frustrated. Garmin is an excellent firm. They have sent a few updates that have correct some issues, but the best way to correct these system bugs are choosing the models that allow for strap monitors that give an exact data record of your heart-rate and intensity minutes. I am considering a different model that includes a strap, so that it eliminates any issues moving forward. Still a good product!

I have been trying out several other activity trackers, but have been utterly disappointed with each one... Until I found the Vivosmart HR! I have found that the majority of activity trackers out there are glorified pedometers. If you aren't swinging your arm, it considers you idle. That does not work for me, a very active mom and Crossfitter. With the active heart rate data recording, activities like jogging with a stroller or doing pull-ups get logged. This tracker has taken the cumbersome chest strap that comes with heart rate monitors and managed to fit the technology into a rather comfortable wristband. Not only that, but it combines it with an activity tracker that logs sleep, steps, and stairs. The only downside are two minor gripes I have with the app. When logging activities, there is not an activity type for cross training. Also, the app (Garmin Connect) does not have its own food logging tool, however, it syncs seamlessly with MyFitnessPal. Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It is very accurate (yes, I even checked my heartrate the old fashioned way to see), easy to use, awesome screen (weather on my wrist? Yes please!). Thank you Garmin, I have finally found the tracker that works for me!

This was an upgrade from a previous Garmin model. It has been very accurate and tough. Since it is worn all day and night has been very durable. Love the bigger display screen. It is easier to see. I highly recommend.

I like this better than my Microsoft band. The screen so far is scratch free from regular use for a month. I don't even have any protective cover on it. This also lasts up to 5 days with one charge, much better than the Microsoft band which last only 2 days on a charge.

I purchased this as a gift. My wife chose this over all other brands and Garmin models. She loves it. It records her daily activity and allows her to see texts and some other phone features by glancing at her wrist.

I did a lot of research before purchasing. It was between the Garmin and the Fitbit. The water resistance (splashes and possible dunks in water) was a factor along with it's better gps. So far, everything good. It does help to keep me motivated in my quest for more exercise.

Have been happy with this fitness band it's easy to read in the light and readable in the dark and you don't need to tap or twist your wrist to see it. Moving from screen to screen is very smooth with the touch screen. Has all the things that I wanted from the fitness reporting. Does every thing the the previous fitbit HR did plus more. My only problem has been it will not consistently connect to my samsung phones bluetooth. Don't know why. Have talked with sales clerks at Best Buy. No Help. So I am not able to use all of the features that are available.

My husband needed a heart rate monitor and this fit the bill. We called customer service for help setting this up and the CS person was great. My husband had a medium band which was too small and she offered (and did) send him a larger band. Nice tracker for the money.

This really helps me get away from the computer screen and become more active! It tracks calories, heartbeats, stairs climbed and much more! It also links to my Smartphone and lets me know when I have a call or email when my phone is on mute, yet remains unobtrusive!

The Garmin Vivosmart HR is the perfect size and function for someone who does not wish to have essentially two smart phones. I chose this watch because I like to workout uninterrupted and with only the "essentials". Battery life is about 3-4 days. Great watch for the price!

I love how not only this watch tracks my fitness it also vibrates and lights up when I have an incoming call or text message. I also really love the find my phone feature. I wish there was an easier way to get back to the clock home screen. Sometimes I have to slide screen several times before I can find the clock. A home screen lock would be nice too. I always find I accidentally slide the screen without knowing. Also had to return first one because the screen got a gash in it. I am on my second one and purchased a screen protector from Amazon for it. Seems to be ok so far.
