Performs well. The best part is that it is water resistant more than most of the other monitors.

I found this device to be slightly heavy on my wrist, it also is a little bulky like for a man more so a woman.I returned this device and got the charge 2 instead. I kept the device for several days before returning however, because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. I say try it out and see if it fits your needs.

Great device. Waterproof is great, as I never have to take it off. Wrist strap broke after constant wear, and had to replace with after market replacement. Other than that, great.

I got mine after playing wife my wife's vivosmart HR. The app is very well laid out, but there are a few functions that I wish it had. It can act as an alarm, but only for a single alarm that is not synced with your default alarms on the phone. I am planning on programming some of these features myself if I have to. The watchband is very nice to have, allowing it to be tightened for more strenuous.activities.

I really like the Garmin. The band seems sturdy and waterproof. Steps seem accurate. App is easy to use and connects to other apps such as My Fitness Pal. Only complaint is it doesn't recognize my spiral staircase as floors climbed. Had a Fitbit HR+ and had it replaced 5 times because the band kept getting bubbles before the warranty expired. Would recommend Garmin over Fitbit because of durability also.

I love the Garmin over other brands. Battery life is over two years. There is no need to charge. I bought a 2nd one for another family member since the features were so convenient.

Easy to use. Love clock, mess aging, phone, weather functions. Can use other timer function - can use as second hand counter for do HR on patients so don't need to wear a separate watch!

I purchased the Garmin Vivosmart after much research. It has all the features I for which I was looking. It fits well and does what it was advertised to do. When I first received it, it would not take a charge. I read troubleshooting online and one suggestion was a hard reset. I did that a couple of times before it started working. I have not had that problem since that point. It would be nice if it was a little nicer looking on my wrist but with the functionality that I wanted, this was the best I could find. It does fit my wrist which was a concern for me when purchasing. There are even a couple more notches if it needed to go smaller.

I picked this up as a gift for a runner that I know. The setup process and interface is very accessible and straightforward. The band can also sync to the Nike run club app for those who do not want to use the garmin connect app. This is a great band for beginners and experienced runners alike, though more serious runners may want the extra features that more expensive bands offer.

I love this watch. It keeps steps very accurately. And it is right on with the heart rate. I don't think the sleep times are accurate. But I did not buy it for that purpose.
