I bought this for my 73 year old mother and she picked up easily how to navigate the device. She has been very pleased with it product.

I took the advice of the knowledgeable sales staff and opted to purchase this unit for a friend as a gift. Since we don't know much about this sort of stuff, it was nice to get a good recommendation on this product from a staff who actually owned the same piece. It has done what we were told it would and is great for starters.

I really like this device, but occasionally get frustrated as it doesn't accurately count sets of steps and also thinks watching tv is sleeping. This throws off daily summaries as well as actual calories burned from exercise. I wish Garmin would work the technology into a wristband that was more fashionable and looked like a bracelet.

I bougt this when my UP broke.The size and weight are very comfortable for all day and night wearing. The controls can be a bit challenging at times but I have been able to get to the correct mode I need with minimal troubles. I wear it 24x7 except when charging.

It is a reliable gadget. Charge almost last for a week

I bought this to count steps but a lot of the other features are nice and work well. The sleep tracker and heart rate monitor work great.

I bought the Vivosmart HR after doing a bit of research. I was looking for waterproof to take swimming. I'm not a runner. So the lack of a GPS wasn't important. However I did want something that tracked a whole day, not just my pool time. This band looked like it fit all of my criteria. The other two bands I was considering was the waterfli fitbit and the Viovactive. I saw multiple times where the Waterfli lost its waterproofing and the other Gramin product had a really large face. I'm a woman with a small arm, it looked too bulky for me. So the Viovosmart HR edged them out. The only downside I've experienced, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that the smart watch description isn't working on my device. It worked for maybe half a day. But since I didn't buy it for the smart watch functionality it doesn't matter to me. It lincs to my smartphone to sinc the data collected automatically like it should. Not sure why the communication isn't both ways. It will ping my smartphone to 'locate' it. So why the smart watch function isn't working is baffling. I do however LOVE the move bar prompt. I have a desk job. It nudging me to get up and move is awesome. But over all it's a great product.

Because the screen is touch screen I can view all my statistics from the watch and I don't have to have the APP close by. Also water proof.

Set up was super easy. Accuracy is affected by arm and hand motion, so if you are carrying boxes up or down stairs or pushing a shopping cart or stroller do not expect an accurate accounting of your steps. This is a problem with many trackers, though, and not exclusive to this one. Overall, a good purchase for the price range.

This Tracker is the best!!! I had Fitbit and they were awful. Garmin has more than met my needs. A little bulky but you get used to it.

We did have a different model of the Garmin and switched to this model. Love the heart rate and the stair monitoring it offers.

This would actually be a great fitness tracker but for one little thing..., the screen is a little to small and the backlight wasn't bright enough (for me). Apart from those points, it is a great fitness tracker that offers a lot over the Fitbit Charge 2 (by way of functionalities)..., but be aware of those two little points.

The fit is better than the fitbit. Like the fact it tracts my sleep patterns and can download app on phone to get all the information.

This was purchased for my wife, and she enjoys when she uses it, but it's been difficult for her to continue to use it for two reasons, keeping it charged and it has to be worn tightly. This would probably be true for any activity tracker though. The only performance issue she has noted was keeping track of her heartrate during a cardio-pump class, but that may have due to the tightness issue above. Otherwise, she loves the phone and text alerts as a nice addition. She has not really used the sleep analysis function at all.

This does almost everything my wife wanted in a watch, but there are two drawbacks. Issue one, the heart rate monitor losses accuracy during intense workouts. 2, the screen is fairly dark. It's taken some getting used to, my wife makes due, but it's iffy.

This is just what I wanted. I tracks my steps, calories, and more. I would definitely recommend this product.... and its water proof
