Customers value the quiet operation, space-saving design, and ease of use of the 2.4 Cu. Ft. Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo with Steam. They appreciate the ventless drying feature for its convenience in small spaces. However, customers have concerns about the long drying time and the tendency of the machine to wrinkle clothes. Some have also raised concerns about the durability of the product.

Great machine but crawls!

We really like this compact machine and the service from BB. We were able to convert a main floor closet to a laundry with plenty of room. This option works for a 1-2 person household and if you are adaptable. We tend to use the quick wash setting with medium spin, which runs about 2:13. The clothes will sometimes feel damper than they are - just hang them up or toss them on the bed to dry! It is important to not overload. However, unless the load is very light, it crawls during the spin cycle. We sprang for the riser (wish it had storage) and high-quality anti-vibration pads with no luck. With the pads, it is almost impossible for us to move it back, so we have to find a solution. Otherwise, five stars.

So far so good. I had an all in one before and this one works better. Be aware it does take about 2 hours to dry as it is ventless

I purchased this product thinking that it would actually be able to live up to the expectations… I was wrong. I moved into an apartment that did not have an external dryer vent, so when I saw this I went ‘wow!’ thinking that it would work at least half decent.. little did I know that it would take 6 hours for a SINGULAR LIGHTWEIGHT HOODIE to become fully dry.. and that it would smell like it had been wet for hours…

This unit takes extra dry time, but this can be overcome by smaller loads run on a light cycle. It is also a plus that having one compact unit allows us to recover significant storage space in or condo.

For what it is I was very impressed. Yes, it takes 4 ours to wash and dry but it is an ALL IN ONE VENTLESS!
Works great in my oceanfront condo where I am not allowed to change and add a 220 putlet

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying your new combo unit! The normal cycle is approximately 3 hours for a medium/large towel load. If the basket is full of clothes, the cycle will be longer. The wash cycle (about 1 hour) is the same as any other front load washer. The dry cycle is much longer due to compromises made to do both functions in the same machine. You should only fill the basket about ½ full. This is to allow the clothes to have room to tumble dry. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback! -Don@GEAppliances

Love this product! It is so much easier, you get your clothes washed and dried all at once and don't have to worry about it stinking if you forget about it. It was also a very easy installation my dad did it all on his own! It was a bit smaller than I thought BUT it works great and does have enough space for a large load. Do not let the size fool you!

I had to have an electrician come and change my 220 to a 120 outlet. Once that was done I used it like crazy! I put it on at my bedtime since it’s quiet and when I awake it’s finished. Can’t wait until one is invented that folds the clothes too!

Replaced a 13 year old LG with identical specs. Quieter, dryer works better, much faster end to end, more consistent results, controls work the same, but include a touch panel with more options than a day trader. For me alone, it has sufficient capacity for me to use ever other day. Installation went without a hitch, and on a holiday!

We needed to install a washer dryer in the kitchen because my inlaws could not go up and down stairs anymore.
This was easy to install and didn't need a 220volt plug or a vent. Just a 110 volt plug and access to water/drain.
Works great but sometimes a pair of jeans comes out after drying slightly damp. So just need to hang them to finish drying or add more drying time.
Usually run the machine at night so it's done when we get up.
Quiet. Able to sit in the room while its runnning.

I use this washer the way I would have used any other front loader. At first I was concerned that it wouldn't hold all my quilts/comforters. It will take a Queen sized comforter, so long as it's lightweight. It will take both my queen sized quilt and king sized quilt with no problems. I buy big heavy bath towels but it works for two of them plus wash clothes. I love this little machine. Unless something is really dirty, I use the quick wash, 36 minutes and done.

Don't afraid, is the best to start the washing machine and to gett the clothes 100% dried. Is super silent and if you fill it 70% with clothes, is gonna work perfect . I recommend this one to everyone that is living in a Rv , or have a small house. The guys from delivery was verry polite and very handy.

So far it’s been great. It is much easier to u program than I would have thought possible. A washing machine that doubles as a dryer that you only need to set once. Set your preferred wash cycle & your dry cycle & the screen will let you know exactly how many minutes your load will take. Infinitely Better Than An Apartment Stack Even when you only have room for an apartment machine/machines.

I'm quite happy with this combination washer dryer. It fits my needs specifically. I don't often need laundry to come out completely dry and have small loads, so this unit works out really well because the wash cycles are quiet, and the lowest spin cycle isn't too loud or cause terrible vibrations.

It washes all the clothes just fine, and tries pretty hard to dry them as best as possible. The clothes won’t come out dry, but hang em on a line for twenty minutes and they’ll be alright. It’s ok. Not what I’d buy if i had room for a washer and dryer, but its manageable.

Small and easy. But the wash time and then for the dryer OMG. Way to long. And if the wash/dry started already it take about an hour to be able to open the machine. Ex- if you forgot to add or remove some things.
