We can wash double the amount and it dries fairly well for a non ducted unit. Saves us money too as we can now wash our kids twin blankets in it.

It actually dries clothes well for the first time. It is very quiet and we like the options for each cycle.

Clothes still felt semi damp and were very wrinkled even after drying for almost 3 hours. I have 15 days to put it to the test, but may return it sooner if it doesn’t perform better.

No venting required for dryer. This is the perfect machine for kitchen location. Love it!...... hope it will last many years.

I was drying everything twice until I realized thwt I goes from the wash cycle to a dry cycle. It’s great for smaller loads. Uses 110 outlet and so far has been great.

Dumps water on hot dry clothes then kidnaps the clothes for 13+ hours, had to rip the door off to make it to work in time. 0/10 recommend. Had to manually turn off water from water line in between cycles to ensure it would not dump water on hot clothes. Great idea, very very poor design and engineering.

Posted .We want to help you with the sound level and drying performance of your combo. We recommend making sure your unit is properly leveled, push and pull on the back right and then back left of your unit to check if it is level. If the unit is uneven, adjust the rubber leveling legs so they are all firmly touching the floor and locked in place. Regarding the drying performance of your unit, we recommend sorting your load properly by separating heavy items from lightweight items and matching the control settings to the load you are drying. You can find more information in page 27 of the owner's manual as well.

Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo with Steam in hopes of a convenient, space-saving solution for my laundry needs. Unfortunately, this unit has proven to be a major headache and a complete waste of money. From the start, the dryer has been a persistent problem. Despite multiple service calls, the unit consistently fails to dry clothes properly, leaving them damp and requiring additional drying time. This defeats the purpose of an all-in-one washer/dryer combo and adds unnecessary inconvenience. To make matters worse, the unit has now developed a leak, further compromising its functionality and causing water damage concerns. I strongly advise against purchasing this GE product. Its unreliability and poor performance have made it a frustrating and costly experience.

And if the wash/dry started already it take about an hour to be able to open the machine. Ex- if you forgot to add or remove some things.

Posted .The normal cycle is approximately 3 hours for a medium/large towel load. If the basket is full of clothes, the cycle will be longer. The wash cycle (about 1 hour) is the same as any other front load washer. The dry cycle is much longer due to compromises made to do both functions in the same machine. You should only fill the basket about ½ full. This is to allow clothes to have room to tumble dry. The door is locked during operation and the unit must cool down to a safe temperature before it can be opened. The cool down period will vary depending on where the unit is in the cycle. -Vikki@GEAppliances
