The washing machine and dryer both are very very noisy!

This washer/dryer is very good. The clothes come out very clean and the dryer works well. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because the dryer doesn't have a buzzer to let you know when it's finished.

Only complaint is theres no audible noise to alert you to the end of the cycles for either the washer or dryer.

Pros: Great capacity, ease of use, price. Cons: Loud wash cycles, If you reside in a condo you will know its laundry day by the amount of normal noise the wash cycle makes. Dryer had a loose piece behind drum causing a noise issue. Repair man wants to swap out ball bearing on the NEW dryer. I think this might not be the machine for me.

GE stacked washer/dryer unit is easy to operate, efficient, and quiet. Clothes are clean after wash and dry quickly. Good value for the money.

Everything has worked great. The only down side was I had to tight some machine screws in the unit. Some weren’t tightened. Pick up was fast and easy.

This unit replaced our old Maytag stacked washer dryer and is awesome. The wash cycle is a little louder than we’d like but it’s worth it because it cleans everything well. We love the large capacity wash basin and the easy to use dial settings. The dryer, which is actually pretty quiet does the job well. So far, so good!

The stacked washer dryer are great in our cramped laundry area and they perform as expected. The only somewhat negative comment would be the noise level of the washer is a bit more than expected and seems a bit odd. We will live with that since they clean very well.

Perfect size for tight spaces. I have a tiny laundry room without much space. It fits perfectly. It runs well and isn’t too loud.

Finally used this for the first time. It sits in an open floorplan condo and the washing is louder than I would have expected. The dryer is quiet enough. I'm very happy with size and looks.

Bought this for my 91 year old mother in law and installed it on her main living floor so that she wouldn’t have to continue to go up and down the basement stairs to do her laundry. She loves it. It’s convenient and does an excellent job cleaning and drying her clothes

Great washer and dryer. Good size for small spaces. The dryer was dented in delivery. Best Buy is replacing the unit. The dent caused the dryer to scrub. The only bad thing is the washer is a little loud.

As a unit it works well. It saves a lot of space and is surprisingly large. My biggest complaint is that it is loud. Not sure if it should be this loud. Either way it works.

Really excited about this purchase. The washer and dryer compartments are very spacious. The clothes that I have washed have been cleaned nicely as well.

Good value. It works well. Dryer does not have an "OFF" buzzer, and the unit is pretty noisy. Other than that. It does what it's supposed to do.

I am so impressed by this combo unit. It's A LOT larger than my previous combo unit and this one has the bells and the whistles with precise water dispensing so you never have to chance the load size (it's the simple things in life). I have washed EVERYTHING....including my KING quilt that I always had to take to a laundromat to wash. I love it!

Everything works great, but I have one issue which I never even considered when making the buy. The dryer door only opens to the right, and the position in my home makes it impossible to place the appliance without the door opening into my face when I use it. I went to the local store this weekend but this item was not on display, so I did not try to approach a salesperson.

This is the 3rd combo that I have bought in the last 25 yrs…wonderful unit & is a great buy for my 3 homes. Full size load & simple mechanism…I do NOT need all of those bells & whistles!!! I love the new “speed wash”.

The washer has a large capacity equal to the size of a side by side full size washer. The knobs and features are easy to use and it does a great job washing and drying with plenty of various settings.
