We were told the repairs had to be ineffective a certain number of times before it could be replaced. Fortunately, Best Buy agreed to replace it after almost 12 months of headaches. I am definitely buying a different brand.

The washer makes an unusual sound while washing but i havent had to buy a new washer in over 20 years, so maybe that's normal now. A stackable is the only way to go if you're elderly, and this unit is fabulous.

They were dismissive and unhelpful and gave me a bunch of grief about the placement of the machine. They walked in saying that they didn't have the right materials to install it properly and basically told me that they didn't have the time or interest to wait 15 minutes for me to go down the street to the hardware store, nor would they tell me what I needed to get in order to install it properly.

Shortly after purchasing, found out the tub was bent because the unit had been dropped. I bought a second stackable washer and ventless dryer WHIRLPOOL and the dryer didn't dry.....well, stopped drying after the warranty ended. I broke down and purchased another stackable laundry center and so far, I have ZERO complaints. GE makes a fine laundry center.
