my other washer was the new energy efficient. lousy washer. could not put much in to it for items to be sort of clean. hated it from day i purchased it. new washer puts in lots of water and clothes get clean...

Sure there are better/more expensive out there....we have two teenagers and always running the washer, this has a big load capacity and does a great job.

While this looks like it may be just a a replacement for your old washer, the technology is much improved on this GE washer. Quiet operation. many cycles, many features and an auto fill makes this washer far superior to the 7 year old one that I had.

The agitator barely moves, and the water level is too low. The only good thing about this washer is the size. Also, I like to adjust my wash time; this machine does not allow that.

I had top of the line front loaders and hated them as i couldn't soak a load of laundry and often had to double wash things. How is that energy efficient? Now i can soak a load when needed. Being able to fill a load with water is the way to go!

Great dollar value. We bought the washing machine with it, great looks, easy to use. Works as advertised.

Always had Maytag Washers. Last one only lasted 6 years. The rest of my house is GE and I'm happy with all appliances. So far Washing machine fits in with everything else.

Next time will evaluate decibel rating as part of the evaluation. A little loud, could be quieter.

I enjoy the ease of selecting the wash cycle I need to use. I wish it had a buzzer to notify me of the end of the wash cycle.

I've had this washing machine for a few weeks now and love it. Has many wash cycle options. Ive heard many bad reviews on the newer style washers and wanted to make sure I purchased one with an agitator. So far, so good.

Just a great overall washer. I have had no problems with it at all. Except that the tub is deep and I am short..... Almost need a step stool to reach the bottom. That's a good thing though I guess. This is a great washer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The Precise Fill Auto-Water Sensing knob--water level seems rather low for the size load washing. Would prefer if machine had a soap dispenser. When adding fabric softener in the dispenser, water needs to be added, an inconvenience. Other than that, machine seems to be OK.

I really enjoy my new washer, I really like the different settings for the types of clothes being washed such as Towels...
