The only thing I don't like is not being able to adjust the volume for the buzzer when dryer stops

So far it's been working great. It is simple and easy to use, which I liked. The only think that I don't like the sound that it produces at the rnd of the cycle. It is too loud. But you can remove it, so not big deal.

Cons: 1. Can't turn off end of cycle buzzer. It buzzes loud and long and if I'd known that it was permanently on, I would not have purchased this unit. 2. Door opens from left side. My home requires that I place the dryer to the left of my washer. This means the door is always in the way when loading. Pros: It drys cloths just fine, but unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros. This was not a good choice for me.

We are very happy with our new dryer. That said, I am going to call for a service as it is very loud sometimes and now the filter doesn't seem to be working; there is never anything in the filter. But apart from the not working properly bit (LOL!), it's a great buy.

First time home buyer and appliance buyer. Looked at many options before finding this dryer. We wanted something that wasn't too technical or that had expensive to repair components. This dryer, with limited use so far, has been just what we wanted. Simple, convenient, and a good price for a beginning home-owner.

Solid purchase. Our washer and dryer are in the basement and we were not ready to apend the money when our dryer broke. But we got this close to 6 months ago and its a solid dryer. We haven't complained about it once. No one sees it, sk we didn't need to spend twice the money to get a fancy one. This does the job plus extras we dont use. Its a good affordable option. The only thing I wish I could do was shut the buzzer off. It gives off a very loud buzzer noise x2 when its done. But if thats my only complaint, I think its great!

My dryer I enjoy very much. It dryers my clothes completion. The service Tech sat up my dryer very well including the vent to the basement window. The remove of my old dryer was a successful. They remove the in the basement the door, however forgot to install it back. I am very happy about my dryer.

Pros: Quieter and much smaller (exterior dimensions) than our 10yo dryer that quit on us. Cons: No low heat cycle for uber-delicate fabrics, no interior light, and I prefer a door that opens as a shelf so you can fold towels AT the dryer.

When I moved, I started looking at the best deals possible for a washer and dryer. I found out electric and gas dryers cost about the same (to run in a home/apartment) so I decided to go with electric. This GE dryer not only dries everything the first time around but it also has so many settings, you can never be disappointed,

I bought the cord and paid for installation, but it was too short. So, that's a waste of $26 for the cord because he just left it with me. We had to go out and buy a 10 ft cord, and now we find we will need a new outlet for the new 220 plug. We have not been able to use the dryer. It's difficult because we are quarantined and highly vulnerable to COVID. I like the dryer, but installation could have gone better and it sucks to be poor and stuck paying for a useless cord. There were also a few scratches on the floor, scratches that didn't happen with the professional installation of the washer a couple of years ago. Those guys had harness straps for carrying it up and down stairs.

Works as expected. Quiet and dries well. Would purchase again.

Great dryer, very simple to operate, and gets the job done. Very easy to maintain also. I regularly clean out the lint trap with a handy dandy hose attachment for my vacuum that I bought especially for my dryer to keep it in good working condition.

An excellent experience on this purchase. Very professional assistance in store. Delivery gentlemen were very courteous, humorous and cautious (want to give them a BIG LIKE, true). While I was excited about a smooth installation and ready to start my first load, I figured that the dryer door/hinge was not switched as I have requested in store together with the purchase. "Switching door/hinge prior to delivery" was a clear work order printed on the receipt of payment. 7 out of 8 items were completed except for this one. Sort of disappointed, and troublesome. I had to call and schedule another appointment with Geek. Then wait at home AGAIN for a technician to come and complete the job. It could have been a very simple process if shipping can run through the check list before getting it out of door. It saves me time, and saves your (BestBuy's) operation cost. Isn't it? Any compensation on the 2nd appointment I waited at home??

I love everything about this dryer! From front-opening with pull handle at the top of door instead of side (less bending and stooping) to fast drying cycles, optimum dryness of articles, and large capacity, it has made laundry time easier and faster. Less of my time is spent with recycling clothes that did not dry properly!

Nice dryer , excelent size , excelent funtion . NO noise.

Works well overall. Just wish I could turn of the buzzer. It’s very loud and aggressive.

Bought this dryer "open box", it has a dent in the door that does not affect the operation whatsoever. Came in to the store originally to buy a sale unit and ended up with a superior product with a larger capacity, all for a lower price! Very pleased

Great dryer. I’ve always had GE appliances and never had any issues. So far this dryer is efficient. Clothes dry quickly and fully.
